The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was okay, bed comfy. Our biggest gripe is the prices! £14.50 for a salad bowl, which consisted of a gem lettuce, 5 croutons and a tiny amount of parmesan. An extra £6 for a small chicken breast and my friend only had 3 slices of halloumi also for £6 - we were not impressed. Also, almost £24 for a pint of lager shandy and a large white sauvignon. It was a nice stay, but save your money and go to the pub just down the road for food and drink.
Friendly and helpful Staff

This is our second visit, having previously given it a 5 star review and we are so glad that it is still a 5 star experience in our opinion !
We were staying for 2 nights, 2 rooms as we were visiting family to celebrate our daughter's 21st.
The staff at reception, bar etc are all so lovely and friendly. The rooms are a good size, aircon very welcome !
The pool isn't hige, but big enough to have a dip and a nice bonus to the hotel.
The breakfast offers a very good choice and uses good quality products.
We did have a Coach load of kids staying on a school trip the friday night , and a different group the saturday, but we were not disturbed by noise. There was also a huge asian wedding on the saturday, but again, we didn't hear any noise from it.
We will continue to come back here for future visits to Peterborough and highly recommend.
Staff were very helpful and everything's was good
Breakfast choices plentiful. Reception manager very polite ( young lady) waiting staff in particular those fetching and carrying very nice and hard workingunhelpful
. The restaurant manager was a woman I think who was abrupt and very Unhelpful when I asked if my family of 8 could be placed on one table or even two close together. I requested this early morning for a late breakfast. She was abrupt in her “No”. However front desk manager came to our aid and sorted the issue.
The breakfast was good.
More attention to detail with ensuring that the room is cleaned to an exceptional standard ie removal of cobwebs to the bedroom window corners.
Water stain marks on the bath panel.
Limescale behind the shower tap
We stayed one night on route to Norfolk. I have limited mobility so staying in a hotel requires some forward planning to ensure that we get an accessible room and easy access. We booked an accessible room which turned out to be on the first floor. The main lift didn’t stop on the first floor but they have a small wheelchair lift to help you get to the first floor. Unfortunately this was too small for my mobility scooter so I had no way of getting to my room. However the staff were really helpful and showed my wife a fire door that could be opened opposite our room which enabled me to enter the building quite easily. Due to the topography of the site the back of the hotel was level with floor one. All I had to do then was drive around the hotel on my scooter to access the door.
The hotel is a large modern complex with an excellent gym and swim pool. The restaurant is acceptable and the bar and coffee shop are good. The rooms are comfortable and the accessible room has an excellent shower perfectly adapted to a disabled persons needs.
Where this hotel really excels is in the quality of the staff. They couldn’t have been more helpful and were very friendly. The girl on reception (Nia) was exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Great breakfast
Great location
Great staff
Slight issue with bath cleanliness, however this issue was fixed immediately and it was the hottest weekend of the year, I feel anyone could have missed it, given the work of housekeeping and the heat...

Extremely clean and comfortable hotel, would highly recommend. The room was spacious and quiet, temperature was perfect, bed very comfortable, bathroom well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding, quality superb and plenty of choice (could do with reviewing where they placed cups and beverages as a trek between them was silly and please let's have an extra knife for toast rather than having to ask for one or raiding another table).
Disappointed at having to pay an extra £5 per night for parking as this is usually included and as there was plenty of spaces and nowhere else to park we felt the additional cost was unnecessary for guests.
Overall a very comfortable stay and great value for money.
Very clean and comfortable, the temperature in the room was perfect. Bed was extremely comfortable and had a really good night's sleep. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. What's not to like.
