Car park a little small, but still sufficient
Holiday Inn in Bolton is an excellent, convenient hotel close to Bolton centre and its Victorian town hall which looks like a palace and has real style. Nat Lofthouse and his Bolton team were welcomed here when they brought the FA Cup back in 1958. The hotel is modern, well staffed, with excellent service. There is ample, free car parking, and plenty of space to enjoy a drink. I saw a man working, undisturbed on his laptop till late. The only quibble I have is with the idiot on their centralised reservation who tried to tell me there wasn't a Holiday Inn in Bolton. He made some enquiries, didn't bother to apologize and gabbled some rubbish from his script about how pleased he was that I was a member of their reservation service/club. Don't be put off, just wonder at the stupidity.
A lovely hotel, very comfortable rooms, helpful staff, freshly cooked breakfast and excellent bar area for the evening. The hotel is also centrally located to Bolton which is great. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would return if visiting Bolton again 😊.
