RUINED by unpleasant reception staff.
Pros:

Room was typical Barcelo standard. It did the job well.

Cons:

Reception. The young man checking us in was THE WORST, RUDEST, MOST IMPERSONAL desk clerk we've EVER experienced. His whole attitude was one of 'what d'you think you're doing here'. Slovenly, dismissive, unpleasant, couldn't care less. We've stayed at other Barcelos many times before but this experience really makes us considering an alternative. Ever heard of the 10/5 rule? This young man was a disgrace to the company. The whole reception area had a bad feel hanging over it. Shameful. .

Von einem vier Sterne Hotel war nichts zu sehen.
Pros:

Die Lage war gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren komplett heruntergekommen und sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Begleitet wurde dies durch stetigen Baulärm, was an sich nicht das Problem gewesen wäre, hätte man ein Zimmer bekommen was wenigstens etwas sauberer und schöner gewesen wäre zumal man trotzdem genug gezahlt hat.
