Cons:

The outside just needs to be refreshed. Walkway upstairs to go to our room was a little scary. A couple of spots were a little soft when we walked through…felt like rotted wood.

We could not stay and risk injury getting in or out of the bed.

We stayed here before without any issues. In fact we liked so many things about it. Unfortunately since the last time we stayed the management decided to raise the bed height for my wife’s safety. We were offered a step stool that the management had purchased for all the rooms. Unfortunately the staff was unable to find any even after checking several locations.

Perfect getaway in the heart of Solvang!
Pros:

The location was perfect! It was quiet because it was not located directly in the downtown. However, it was an easy 5 minutes walk into town!

Cons:

The mattress needs replacing. We sunk into the middle, felt like a water bed :(

Pros:

No breakfast @ hotel, only coffee & Danish on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Cons:

Pictures on website not the same when you arrive @ hotel. Needs some TLC.

Worth every penny.
Pros:

Room was very nice and large with a ceiling fan, refrigerator and microwave. Also had a jacuzzi bath tub. Relaxing balcony. Pool and hot tube.

It was dirty; the towels had other people's hair on them, and the floor was filthy—my ​​socks turned black just from walking on it. It was pretty gross, especially since it was such an expensive stay. The only good thing was the location. When we arrived, a man treated us poorly, but the young woman at the lobby desk was nice to us.

The room was decently clean but the hall ways and stairs to the second floor were very dirty. lobby dead flowers, laundry facility and back parking lot very junky. Felt unsafe.
