Μια τέλεια επιλογή διαμονής στη Βαρκελώνη.
Pros:

Ένα πληρως ανακαινισμένο ξενοδοχείο στη μέση της γοτθικής συνοικίας.
Η τοποθεσια ιδανική καθώς πας παντού με τα πόδια. Και στα απομακρυσμένα σημεία πας με το μετρό που έχει στάση δίπλα.
Τα δωμάτια ευρύχωρα.
Το πρωινό φανταστικό με τεράστια ποικιλία.
Το προσωπικό πρόθυμο να σε εξυπηρετήσει και ειδικότερα τα παιδια στη ρεσεψιόν πολυ ευγενικά.
Η διακόσμηση του πολυ ωραία.
Τα στρώματα άνετα, όπως και τα μαξιλάρια του.

Cons:

Στο δωμάτιο που μείναμε κατά διαστήματα το σιφώνι μυρίζε πολυ άσχημα. Ελπίζουμε να το διορθώσουν.
Η γειτονιά γενικότερα έχει πολυ κόσμο όλο το 24ωρο με συνέπεια τα ξημερώματα να ακούγονται φωνές από άτομα που πιθανόν να ήταν μεθυσμένα. Για κάποιον που κοιμάται βαριά δεν γίνεται αντιληπτό. Για εμένα που κοιμάμαι ελαφριά ίσως ήταν μια μικρή ενόχληση.
Για αυτούς τους λόγους βάζω 9/10

Location is great, at the very center close to everything. Breakfast was fantastic with many different options, rooms were clean and the staff absolutely amazing!

Great stay at Gran Hotel Barcino – highly recommended
Pros:

We’ve just got back from a great long weekend in Barcelona, staying at the Gran Hotel Barcino. It’s a lovely hotel, really conveniently located and surrounded by great bars, places to eat, and plenty of sights.

We had a small issue with the room on check-in, but a quick chat with the management sorted it and we were given a really nice room on the 2nd floor with a balcony. The staff and management were excellent throughout. Some reviews mention that the balcony rooms overlook the street and can be a bit lively/noisy at times - which is true - but it didn’t bother us at all (and is pretty standard for central locations). The bed was really comfortable, the TV had loads of UK channels, and the room was clean and tidy. The mini fridge also kept everything properly cold.

The only minor downside was that the cooked breakfast (bacon, eggs, beans) was a bit lukewarm and cooled quickly on the way back to the table. That said, the staff in the breakfast area were great and the overall selection was excellent — especially the little donuts.

Overall, a really great place to stay and we’d definitely recommend it.

Brilliant stay, helpful staff, great location
Pros:

We stayed here for 2 nights and we found the hotel amazing. The hotel and room was lovely and clean and in a great location. Staff were also brilliant and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would book again if I returned to Barcelona 😁
