Ubicación perfecta y comodidad.
Pros:

La ubicación cerca de la estación Goya del Metro y de el Parque El Retiro es perfecta. Muchos cafés y comercio alrededor a pocos pasos del hotel. El restaurante y el bar del hotel están muy buenos y con ambiente agradable.

Pros:

The hotel is stylish, with a new (I think) bar/restaurant which is pretty swish. Staff were excellent and the rooms very comfortable. The beds and pillows were particularly comfortable, as a person generally fussy!

Cons:

Two of our three nights (Saturday and bank holiday Sunday for the 12 octubre festa) there was quite a lot of bar noise from the street. I had seen this in the reviews before arrived and had therefore requested an upper floor which was provided and I think helped somewhat. There is reasonable soundproofing

* I didn’t like the bed sheets or pillows. They were uncomfortable.
* Bathroom amenities were only provided upon check-in and were not replenished unless requested.
* There were no facial tissue boxes in the room, only toilet paper rolls. We had to request a tissue box separately.
* Complimentary bottled water was only provided on the first day. After that, we had to pay for additional bottles.

The room was fantastic, featuring a wonderful private terrace with breathtaking views over the skyline of Madrid.

Cons:

Overall, a very pleasant hotel. The only minor downside was that our room wasn't available until the standard 3:00 PM check-in time. While completely understandable, we were hoping for a bit of flexibility given that we had requested an early arrival in advance and paid a premium for the upgraded room. That aside, we still enjoyed our stay!

The location is good.

Cons:

The walls of rooms are so thin that you hear everything: steps, talking, hoovering and even when neighbours flash their toilet. Some renovation noise was started at 8 am. Impossible even just to stay in the room. Sleep also.
