Excellent Location. Good value beautiful hotel
Pros:

The location. The staff were very friendly and greeted us everytime they saw us. Rooms were very comfortable as was the bed. Bathrooms excellent with plenty of hot water.

Cons:

As this is an older hotel that is gorgeous, the air conditioning was very noisy in the rooms. Luckily I could sleep with the noise. I understand that trying to change the old fashion air conditioners would change the beauty of the Commodore. Be aware if you are a light sleeper. As the temperatures were at least 38 degrees I needed to be cool.

Loved all the fresh flowers throughout the lobby.

Cons:

It wasn't clear where to park our car and the parking lot didn't have a lift so we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs.
