Looking forward to return someday
Pros:

Superb in every way. Perfect location. The hotel vibe is warm and inviting. Rooms are clean. The beds hit the perfect comfort level. The breakfast is excellent. And let's not forget probably the most important part - their team. They were friendly and though we didn't have any demanding requests I'm confident they'd succeed at any.

Cons:

There is nothing not to like. In fact I'd use this space to rather write about another thing we liked. Staying here afforded us the opportunity to walk safely between our accommodation and the surrounding attractions at the V&A Waterfront late at night - something which can't be taken for granted in Cape Town City. The other hotels in the area charge a HUGE premium just to be on the next block (closer to the waterfront). I don't want to jinx it for future stays, but in this regard I think the value we received with The Commodore is way better.

Pros:

Location in the V and A waterfront near the hop on hop off bus was very convenient.

We ordered room service and the food was very good.

Cons:

I had written to the hotel multiple times via Booking.com to enquire about airport transfer before my trip but received no response from the hotel at all.
