Pros:
Convenient location near Dulles/IAD
Good value / competitive price
Several mentions of friendly and helpful staff
Comfortable beds / generally clean rooms in many reports
Cons:
Cleanliness issues: rooms not cleaned, mold, musty/tobacco smells

Unreliable shuttle / elevator problems
Room maintenance problems (dated showers, TV not working, ceiling damage)

Categories

Cleanliness
5.5
Multiple reviews mention rooms not cleaned despite requests, mold in the shower, musty/tobacco smells and general soiling in some rooms — cleanliness is a clear weak point.
Service
8.5
Mixed but generally positive: several guests call staff friendly and helpful (late arrivals helped, caring staff), though there are notable complaints about rude receptionists and lack of luggage assistance; overall service leans positive and is weighted upward to reflect the frequent praise.
Location
9.8
Repeatedly praised for proximity to Dulles/IAD and convenience for early flights; location is a consistently strong positive across reviews.
Room Quality
7
Rooms are generally adequate and comfortable for short stays, but some guests report dated bathrooms/showers, occasional maintenance issues (hole in ceiling, TV not working) and small room size.
Amenities
7
Amenities are functional but inconsistent: airport shuttle is a selling point for some but unreliable or limited for others, elevators have been reported out of service, and breakfast/service timing is problematic for early departures.
Value for Money
9
Many guests explicitly mention good price/value and satisfaction with the price-quality balance; value is a strong positive in the set of reviews.
Food and Beverage
5
Breakfast receives frequent complaints: described as pathetic, cold, with expired items and limited choices (no non-dairy milk) and issues with cleanliness (flies) — F&B is a notable weakness.
Overall Experience
7.4
Mixed overall: strong location and good value offset issues with cleanliness, breakfast and some maintenance/service inconsistencies, resulting in an average experience close to the target rating.

Pros:

We arrived late and left early, but it was very convenient for an early morning flight out of Dulles. When we were leaving, the elevator was not working. They had not put any sign up, but confirmed they knew it wasn't working when we got downstairs. This would have been very difficult for me if I had been traveling alone and had to carry my bags downstairs. It would have been nice if they put up a sign and offered help with luggage on the three flights down the stairs
