Genuine hospitality in downtown Denver
Pros:

Great Stay! Look forward to returning!
Pros:

The location of Hotel Teatro is fantastic! It is walking distance (2 blocks) to the 16th Street Mall and 2 blocks from Larimer Square. The hotel and our room was very clean and the bar/lobby area is very inviting.

Cons:

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The only point to mention is if you valet park your car (which we did) and you plan to leave before 6am you will need security to get your car for you. The normal valet service begins at 6am.

Pros:

Pros - good location for walking to Union Station and Coors Field - valet was convenient - staff was friendly - room was ready an hour before check in - interior was beautiful and historic

Cons:

Cons - room had a view of a parking garage - ac did not cool down the room even after having it fixed by maintenance it stayed at 75 - although valet was convenient it was pricey at an extra $67 a night

Pros:

Good location, nice rooms.

Cons:

No air conditioning in the hotel despite excuses (oh, it’s an old building; oh, nobody reported the ac in your room wasn’t working, etc) on a warm Denver summer inexcusable. I’ve stayed here 2-3 other times, it always worked; they now come running with fans and swamp cooler units despite acting surprised the AC isn’t operating, even the lobby was a sweat box. A saggy mattress didn’t help my back either.

Time to upgrade the hotel

The hotel is very nice and has a great location.
Pros:

This property was in a great location, walkable and close to the art district and Larimer. The decor was upscale and the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

They gave us two wooden nickels when we arrived and said we could use them for morning coffee or evening wine. When we tried to use them, they said only one per day could be used. It just didn’t seem to make sense.
Also, the air conditioner never cooled below 75 in the room and was uncomfortable when sleeping.

Great location. Dog relief area around the corner was convenient bring in a predominate concreter jungle.
