Pros:

Pros - good location for walking to Union Station and Coors Field - valet was convenient - staff was friendly - room was ready an hour before check in - interior was beautiful and historic

Cons:

Cons - room had a view of a parking garage - ac did not cool down the room even after having it fixed by maintenance it stayed at 75 - although valet was convenient it was pricey at an extra $67 a night

Good location, nice rooms.

Cons:

No air conditioning in the hotel despite excuses (oh, it’s an old building; oh, nobody reported the ac in your room wasn’t working, etc) on a warm Denver summer inexcusable. I’ve stayed here 2-3 other times, it always worked; they now come running with fans and swamp cooler units despite acting surprised the AC isn’t operating, even the lobby was a sweat box. A saggy mattress didn’t help my back either.

Time to upgrade the hotel

Great location. Dog relief area around the corner was convenient bring in a predominate concreter jungle.

The hotel is very nice and has a great location.
Pros:

This property was in a great location, walkable and close to the art district and Larimer. The decor was upscale and the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

They gave us two wooden nickels when we arrived and said we could use them for morning coffee or evening wine. When we tried to use them, they said only one per day could be used. It just didn’t seem to make sense.
Also, the air conditioner never cooled below 75 in the room and was uncomfortable when sleeping.

Great stay!
Pros:

Our stay started off rough because the A/C unit in our room was not working correctly and the room was almost permanently at 77 degrees. The hotel was amazing at accommodating us and brought a fan for the first night until they could move us to a different room even with the hotel being fully booked. They also offered us a discount for the first night that we had to endure the heat. Natalie at the front desk was amazing in listening to our concern and genuinely felt bad that we had to deal with the situation and did everything she could to make it right! The valets were always friendly and it was nice having them there when we came back later at night to make sure only guests were entering the hotel. The location is super convenient for walkability to downtown denver and Empower Field. 10/10 will be staying again and looking forward to it, we found our new hotel for staying in Denver!
