The decor was lovely, very comfy and breakfast was lovely.
Parking was tight but there was a wedding goi g on.
Location was ideal for purpose of stay, bar area great for socialising, breakfast was good.
Just a personal preference, room was too warm and sash window would only open about two inches to get cool air in.
Room was spacious, clean and well decorated. Didn't have breakfast, but location was good, in the middle of town, close to other facilites.

Luxury King Size Room, didnt quite match the picture, could do with some pillow options. Dissapointed with breakfast, first down at 7:30 and everything was at best 'luke warm', plates were cold and selection seemed to be missing eggs in any form.
Would have thought with the Hotel rating, breakfast could and should have been, at least in part, made to order.
All just a bit disappointing... but may have just been a bad day... big wedding on, but still not really an excuse.

Staff attitude, we asked for a table for dinner on the Sunday but the waitress (with cream from her coffee around her mouth) said the kitchen closed at 6.......in a 4* hotel?? Next morning reception was eating her breakfast behind the desk?? Dirty coffee cup on the tray on the restaurant.

No parking available and no alternate suggestions from staff. Weddings and other functions take all parking day and night.

Room was hot. Breakfast was terrible, not tables, not plates, no coffee machine and watching staff trying to repair it very noisily, no eggs brought out after being ordered, food was poor considering the price, worst breakfast ever at a hotel

Pretty building for a 4 stars
The so called spa is a farce. First they charge you to go there, then you have to book a spot in advance, even to go to the sauna (I did not know), the sauna and the steam room did not really work properly
Half of the staff, for some odd reasons, had a certain attitude - although one lady was helpful and nice when fixing my air cond issue
250 pounds for a 15 sqm meters room overlooking a wall, is not good !

We went to a friend wedding. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The staff were rude from the receptionist. The carpark was full, which was fine, but I popped in to ask where to park. They were pretty rude. Just find somewhere to park up the road. It would be helpful if they printed slips with were to park and give some basic customer service. Breakfast was a complete disaster with no plates/ cups when asked the just rolled their eyes without an apology. Food run
took ages to come fill certain parts up sausages looked pale and horrible. Eggs were cold. Complete waste of money. Dirty tables everywhere. Check out 0 customer service again.
Beautiful stay. The bar is well stocked and staff are great. Resturant food is amazing and quality of sleep was brilliant.
