Lovely communal facilities like pool area but our room and surrounding areas were very run down - for the price we paid
Pros:

The main part of the resort (reception, pool etc) were really nice and had a great range of facilities

Cons:

We were placed in a wing that is currently being updated so was surrounded by fencing, and due to our wing not being updated yet, it was very run down and aged - holes in the roof in common area, massive gaps in holes and tiles, peeling paint everywhere etc. we weren’t notified about works taking place when booking or checking in. there is also an old bar/cafe sitting empty right next to the main bar &pool and makes space feel closed & run down.

I was so disappointed with the condition of the room and how dated it was. The walkway to the room had lots of damaged panels on the services there is a massive hole in the ceiling. It looked terrible and run down.

Cons:

The rooms were never cleaned on time. Multiple calls to reception to change linens and provide new towels. Finally I went to the staff and got amenities directly from them.

The room was out dated.
There was no plug so we couldn't fill the bath or the sink. When we asked reception for a bath plug they couldn't provide one that fitted.

Very poor food service
Pros:

We ordered supper with ease. No mention of a long wait time. 70 minutes later we had been served nothing. My husband went to check and we were told that we should have been told that there would be a long wait, well we weren’t! We left with no food, very bad experience.

Pros:

We have been to Novotel at Twin Waters before and it is the most peaceful most relaxing place to go. It’s always super clean, super tidy, always beautifully presented and you definitely get what you pay for. Yes it is a bit more on the pricey side but for what you get it is worth every single dollar you spend! There’s so many activities to do and the food is delicious. The service is always prompt professional and friendly.

Pros:

I was a little disappointed in the overall condition of the property, it seems quite run down and tired. It was very expensive and so I would have expected very high quality standards. It was a lovely place and has great potential but looks like it needs a pretty serious uplift

Cons:

I found it long and arduous to get to my room and it was difficult to find, there was no offer of assistance to get me there. After a long trip to arrive it would have been nice to have been offered help to get my bags to my room.
Also, because it far away from anywhere it would be great to have some kind of shuttle service into town and possibly even the airport? It is very isolated there and a trip to the airport - only 10 minutes away- was $30.
