I like location
We had to call rooms service couldn't get volume to work on TV, and they fixed that promptly. Next morning went to dry my hair, and hair dryer was broke I called front desk said they would get me one. Almost 1hr later still nothing, very upsetting as we was wanting to get out and go places. Ive always dryed my hair in the morning. I finally was watching down the hall, and our neighbors was leaving i ask if I could borrow the dryer in that room. They was kind enough to hand me their's. I called front desk to let them know that hair dryer belonged to that room and gave them number of room, the desk ask like they could care less.
The breakfast was just ok. The same exact thing every day though. Would have been nice to have a toaster and bread instead of the same French toast sticks every day.
The room that we were first given had multiple things wrong with it. First, the phone was not plugged into the wall, and the handset was not plugged into the phone. The door looked like someone had tried to force entry and the frame was torn up, as was the edge of the door where the latch is. This left a cavity next to the strike plate. Also the wardrobe doors didn't close flush, and upon inspection I noticed that the bottom hinge on the left door was not on right. It had also been abused and not fixed. Both bulbs were missing out of one of the lamps. The window was filthy. So, I went to the front desk and she was very nice and re-assigned us a room. It was definitely better, but the hotel is old and in need of many renovations and TLC and cleaning. Filthy windows in the rooms, generally didn't feel very clean overall. Not updated in probably too long. In our room that we got re-assigned to, the drapes didn't work right and were missing a pull rod. They were torn a bit. My guess is that the entity that owns the place is either really too tight with $$, or is anticipating an upcoming massive remodel or renovation and is not willing to spend the money right now to clean and maintain the property like it should be. They also didn't have the extra towels and hangers in the room that I had requested up front. We requested some more towels a couple of days into our stay, and when they brought them to the room, the guy that brought them knocked about every few seconds until I answered (took me a minute, I had to pull some shorts on), then without a trace of a smile or any spoken words, just held the bag of towels out while looking at his phone. Look at the pictures. There was also an info sheet on the desk which had a QR code that was deactivated. Finally, a big diesel generator next to the pool turned on for about 20 minutes and almost made us sick breathing the exhaust poolside. Loud too!
Air conditioner in the room worked great. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly and nice. The hotel restaurant "Jack Henry" was great. The staff and the food were fantastic.
The air conditioning was not working in the hallways. It was very hot while waiting for an elevator. Which the elevator was very full and had to wait for 6 different elevators to open before there was room when we were checking out.
Big king room w/sofa suite. Large bathroom.
Pool and hot tub especially WAY TOO SMALL for size of the hotel.
There wasn’t much to like.
Lack of communication. Booked on separate floor from travel ball team, was moved to correct floor due to air conditioner falling off of wall in first room. Mold in the bathtub, stained curtains. Rooms smelled of mildew. Power outage lasted more than 3 hours, was not reimbursed.
The room was like it said.
Need a parking garage or something with more access.
Don’t stay here if u have baby … the sheets was nasty like they don’t change … the picture and been there was diferent. Bathroom was not clean well . I know it looks old but people need to keep clean and it looks like they don’t vacuum either my carpet room had a little paper toilet . I can’t believe I salty one night … there I check in the morning I want it to get out there . That places is old but they should clean better . I don’t recommend staying here if u have children any one .
Everything in general. I can’t believe I pay to stay in nasty places I wish they would refund me my night . I took picks of the beds 🤢
Breakfast was great, especially for a complimentary one, and the price for the quality of the stay is tough to beat.
It was an older building and while clean, had fallen into disrepair. The beds were not particularly comfortable for two people.
Location, amenities, food
It would have been nice if one of the cafeterias ,the bar, something that serves food would have been open until around midnight would.
Good
Microwave was missing in the room
