Cons:

La taxe de séjour de 3,70 €/pers est facturée sur 2 jours alors que nous n’y avons passé qu’une seule nuit. C’est un peu surprenant par rapport au fonctionnement habituel. Cela nous a tout de même donné accès à l’ensemble du réseau des transports en commun notamment jusqu’à la station balnéaire de Warenmunde

We stayed at Scan hotel for just one night while visiting Rostock to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. Our room was very spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. We were also pleasantly surprised by a lovely complimentary gift from the hotel -fresh fruits and champagne -which made our special occasion even more memorable.

The hotel itself is elegant and very stylish. There is a great spa area with several types of saunas and a well-equipped gym. There is no swimming pool, but the wellness facilities were still excellent and very relaxing.

Breakfast was simply perfect - a huge selection with everything you could possibly want for an ideal breakfast, all fresh and delicious.

The location is also fantastic, very close to the old town, and our window had a beautiful view of the water.

If we visit Rostock again, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended!

Pros:

I was staying with this hotel group several times in Denmark, but the first time in Germany: as usual - very spacious, good materials, beautiful view, amazing breakfast. Beds and mattresses of good quality and very comfortable. Staff really tries to make your stay comfortable.
