Britannia Airport Inn Manchester

We've stayed only for one night but can't fault it at all. We've enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Room was clean, bed comfy.
National Trust park right next door but the weather wasn't good enough to go for a walk. Generally a pleasant stay

The room was not clean and smelt of damp. The food was also very poor and it was hard to find clean glasses.

Found check in somewhat hard work. Checked in online through the email sent and had a confirmation of the check in but when came to the front desk it appeared that the check in wasn’t done and the receptionist had to re-do it but he did appear to have some sort of an attitude to be honest so that could have been a bit more pleasant but overall can’t complain.

Extremely Basic hotel rooms. Our room was not clean there were marks on walls & the one chair in the "double room' was marked and dust around edges there was cobwebs in corners and cieling with spiders and blood & stains on curtains. I asked reception if we could upgrade & was told NO because you have dogs. I told him the room is dirty and there is cobwebs and spiders everywhere can we change rooms. We were given another very small room which was much cleaner. The tv didnt work in there. Not impressed we definitely wont be staying there again.

Stayed for 2 nights ,being convenient for what i needed , unfortunately the hotel can be noisy due to other guest banging about and talking in corridor! Small rooms but you have everything you need and good amount of coffee and tea !

Lovely location and hotel just old and tired but perfect place for going to see Man United at Old Trafford

I stayed at this hotel recently and found it clean and comfortable, though it feels quite dated, like stepping into a hotel from the past. The room had a few useful features I appreciated, including an iron and ironing board, a good shower, and a very comfortable bed.

The food served at the bar was surprisingly good, and the location is convenient, close to the airport and easy to reach.

One thing to be aware of is the parking situation. When I arrived, I saw a sign in the car park saying you needed to pay within fifteen minutes. I downloaded the parking app and paid, only to be told at reception that parking is actually free for hotel guests. Unfortunately, they could not refund me because the parking company is separate from the hotel. So make sure to check with reception before paying for parking.

Overall, it was a decent stay with a few quirks. If the hotel updates its décor and clears up the parking confusion, it could be a solid choice for airport travellers.

Friendly staff and nice hotel. Only downside was no lift to part of floor 2 where my elderly mams room was

Only stayed overnight. Didn't use much of the amenities. Beds comfortable slept well and the room was clean and tidy

Comfortable and quiet rooms, friendly staff and decent bar area. Handy if flying from Manchester or spotting at Southside. Cheap parking, which is a rarity these days.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Swimming pool and spa facilities were a definite plus. The food was good to average. The room was very small for a double room. The hotel was “tired”. We were on the second floor - carpets were worn, paintwork and decor needed refreshed. Large car park but the bays were too narrow for most vehicles to park safely. Convenient for airport.

It is comfortable enough for my needs. I stay there as ut us close to where i work. Restaurant is excellent and the majority of staff are friendly.

Perfect for a close location to the airport but without airport prices. Staff were very helpful and great to have a pool next door. Quiet and convenient.

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, bedroom could of been bigger, only real negative was being woken at 5.30am with residents clattering along the corrodor and down the stairs maybe catching early flight

Basic hotel. Ok for a one nighter for airport travel.

We stayed the night before our early flight from Manchester check in staff were lovely and friendly the hotel was clean would deffo stay there again.

The property was average and quite dated. The bed was comfortable, we also had no issues with noise.
