Alexander The Great Beach Hotel

Had a lovely 10-night stay at this hotel and would recommend it. Particular highlights are:
* Proximity to Paphos Harbour
* Lovely long flat promenade for walkers and runners
* Friendly staff - all very interesting people - who often stop to chat (Slav: this is your famous moment on the internet!)
* Clean and well organised
* HB clients can swap the evening meal for lunch if they want to eat out sometimes - never had that before!
* The Italian restaurant is superb and makes for a lovely “special “ evening
* Good value for money - hotel prices comparable with outside

If we ever come back to Cyprus we will definitely consider this hotel again.

We chose this hotel for the second year to spend 10 days, including a birthday. Everything about our stay was exceptional. On arrival, we were pleased to have a room with a beautiful view of the amazing sunset. We ate our evening meals in the main restaurant and enjoyed the great variety of foods for the different theme nights. Breakfast was served in a bright and airy room with the option of eating either in or out. Here again the smiling staff helped us with a variety of meals, including freshly cooked omelettes or eggs.
On two special occasions we booked into the Garibaldi Restaurant. Here the staff made every effort to make us feel special. We also enjoyed an evening meal served in Greek style in the breakfast room. The food prepared is very varied and is served with a glass of wine or beer served at the table.
What we love about this hotel is the standard of service. In all departments the staff have been very well trained and they go out of their way to ensure that visitors feel welcome and well looked after. There is always someone on call to help with any issues or questions.
In addition there is an indoor pool where my wife attended an aqua fit session. It is a 15 minute walk into the harbour area of Paphos. The walk is level and there are shops and cafes along the way. Buses leave from the road at the front of the hotel and a day ticket enables you to go a bit further afield including to Paphos old town market and Coral Bay.
We chose to join two day trips from the hotel. One was entitled Cyprus Heritage and the second was to Famagusta. Both of these trips were led by a wonderful guide who ensured that we were introduced to several aspects of Cyprus history. These were excellent and left us with lasting memories of Cyprus people. Last year we visited the archaeological sites in Paphos including the Tomb of The Kings. This year we explored on foot from the harbour along a new coastal walkway. The views of the coast are amazing.
We feel lucky to have found this hotel and grateful to the staff and management for making this holiday such a wonderful experience. We were sad to leave.

The sea view room hears the waves from your comfortable bed, quality madress, sheets.
Breakfast and dinner are amazing.
A 4 Star hotel but even better than 5 star Hotels.
I am looking forward to coming back next February again.

As we arrive on the 1st of March, me and my wife we've got a really decent room at the Alexander the Great Beach Hotel Paphos, really stunning room and wonderful sunsets. Breakfast is really various and the table service also amazing. During our stay the staff is so so friendly and that is what the experience make it so perfectly, by second night we book our dinner at Garibaldi restaurant, Italian specific where Jordan was absolutely super friendly and make our experience on another level. The food 100/10 i cannot describe it until you try it. Big shout out to Daniel who is super hard working and explain each course with such a kindness and passion over his work. My husband and I had a super holiday at
this hotel. We were treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Everything ran like clockwork.
Everywhere in the hotel was spotless.
Food was good and so much choice. The Italian night was very special and we highly recommend it.

We did have a few minor problems after our arrival, but after talking to, and being listened to by guest services our problems were solved and now we couldn’t be happier.
The staff are all friendly and helpful and much of our excellent stay must be attributed to the staff who listened to us and put things right.

Hotel jest elegancki i luksusowy, wszystko co potrzebne, a nawet więce,j jest pod ręką. Personel bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny. W czasie posiłków obowiązuje dresscjode i jest elegancko. Jedzenie przepyszne i w zaskakująco obfitym wyborze. Zachody słońca widziane z okna lub leżaka przed basenem, na tle plaży i palm były oszałamiające. Zdecydowanie polecamy ten hotel.

Comfort Bed

Staff were so friendly and attentive, the general manager himself was on breakfast service. It always shows when senior management actually do he job, nice weekly gathering for guests & small talk, excellent food and drink

Номер понравился. Чисто,свежо и вид на море.
Посетили сауну. Жаль что не получилось записаться на массаж.

Location and view from room was amazing. Dinner and breakfast choices were vast and plenty. Good quality food. Amazing restaurant staff. Room was big and clean and comfortable. Loved the bed in particular. We had everything that we needed.

Location great, pool outside and breakfast as well. Welcome birthday cake was a cherry on top!
