Fabulous Easter in the sun.
Pros:

A fabulous hotel with a fantastic location , amazing staff and food that excelled all expectations. As an experience destination it delivered on every element for our anniversary celebrations, the dining experience at the Garibaldi restaurant surpassed anything we could have wished for, the gastronomy was inspired, the atmosphere special and the attention to detail to make it extra special was provided by Jordan and his team. The staff in every venue were welcoming and knowledgeable and attentive, whilst the grounds were well manicured and the equipment comfortable for a day catching rays. Cosmetically the rooms needed a little updating but were cleaned daily to a high standard, spacious and having a private terrace was incredible. The location was never noisy nor did it feel over crowded, with space to be private or join in with chatting to other guests. The value for money, service and location make this a must visit hotel and we will be back.

Disappointing afternoon service
Pros:

I went to the Alexander The Great Hotel on Sunday 29th, March, 2026 for afternoon coffee with 2 other friends. We ordered coffee and a sweet dessert. we asked for
Tiramisu and also lemon meringue. They brought the coffees and we waited for the desserts. After some time we asked the waitress and she said they were making them?
We continued to wait and after half an hour when we had we had finished drinking our coffees they brought the desserts on extremely large square plates with extremely small portions of dessert. We were very dissatisfied with the service we received and would not advise going the the Alexander Hotel in Paphos for afternoon cake.

A relaxing break.
Pros:

When you come through the door you immediately get the feeling that this hotel has been in operation since the time of Alexander the Great. There is an aura of calm efficiency about the place. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the balcony with a sea view was sheltered from the cool wind which blew for most of our stay. Breakfast catered for most tastes and the coffee was hot. The themed evening meals were enjoyable - the hotel will offer greater variety once the season gets going. Thanks to the staff for a very pleasant and relaxing week.

Lage super, alles andere sehr fragwürdig und den Preis sicher nicht wert

Die Lage war sehr schön und Nahe am Hafen, wo wir gute Restaurants fanden!

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar reichhaltig und groß, aber das essen war alt und Brot war hart und alles vom Vortag wurde wieder verwendet! Tische wurden nur mit den Servietten der Gäste abgewischt und sofort wieder aufgedeckt, keine Desinfektion, kein nasser Fetzen nichts! Bei unserem Tisch war 1 Woche derselbe Honigfleck usw…….furchtbar! Personal im Service -überbesetzt und auf den Etagen und Zimmern bzw Pool unterbesetzt! Im Dampfbad Rostflecken auf den Sitzen, Rost am Pool, Zimmer dreckig und 1 Woche weder gesaugt nich sauber geputzt!

First class stay with great food, great service and great location
Pros:

We had a first class stay at the Alexander the Great hotel in Paphos.

Location: a 5 minute walk to the harbour and near plenty of bars and restaurants.

Food: a gastronomical delight. The breakfast & dinner buffets were great. We also ate at Garibaldi Italian and Orchid restaurant at the hotel. All were outstanding. Cyprus night at the buffet had food that was my favourite. We had a Club sandwich at the pool and it was the best we had ever eaten. The chefs do magic! The drink and snack prices were cheaper than most restaurants and cafes nearby despite it being a hotel.

Room: we had a sea view with balcony. Very nice and clean.

Staff: everyone made you feel welcome and were always smiling and helpful. Maria & Lottie deserve particular thanks for their warmth and dedication to service.

Pool and facilities. Lovely, lovely, lovely

Excellent hotel on the sea front
Pros:

This was my 4th visit to this hotel and it did not disappoint. It is about 15 minutes easy drive from Paphos airport. Ultra clean, Well organised, efficient.
I had a sea view room and I was extremely happy.

Wonderful stay at the Alexander The Great Beach Hotel
Pros:

We stayed at Alexander The Great Beach Hotel from 15–22 March and had a fantastic time, even though the weather didn’t always cooperate. The location is ideal — just a short and pleasant walk to the harbor, which made exploring Paphos really easy and enjoyable.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day out.

What truly made our stay special was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Everyone we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The bar has a lovely atmosphere with daily entertainment, and the food consistently exceeded our expectations. The Garibaldi, Seven Orchids, and Limanaki restaurants were absolute highlights.

It was our first stay here, and we’re already excited to return end of May.

Great experience at a Great hotel.
Pros:

Just back from a fabulous Birthday trip, this was the first time staying at the Alexander The Great, what a great experience, from first stepping through the doors, the staff are so welcoming. It was special to receive a Birthday cake, card and balloons for my special birthday.
Meals were delicious, we eat in the Italian for my birthday, such a treat, must be done.
