Disappointing.
Pros:

Good location for my course nearby and to walk into Solihull for evening meals.
Curry at nearby Delhi was great.

Cons:

Room was very dusty with stains and short curly black hairs on the bed spread. This was raised and fresh bedding provided for the next day but the room was still very dusty - it seemed to be coming out of the aircon unit so maybe that needs servicing?
At breakfast we stood up to get some yoghurt and the staff cleared away our coffees which were not finished and we couldn’t get new ones as only the cups on your table are available.
On check out the receptionist came out of the back room with a mouthful of food and talked with her mouth full throughout check out.
The gym was very tired and dirty with crusts of dirt on the dumbbell rack and crud in the corners of the room. Insufficient workout space and minimal mats meaning we had to lay on the dirty floor for our workouts. We chose the hotel for the pool and steam room but it was not made clear that it would have children’s swim lessons on in the evenings which meant we could not use it as we wished. The steam room did not seem clean so we didn’t risk it.
Ultimately we wished we had just chosen a budget hotel rather than trying for something in a higher price bracket.

Lovely big place, nice pool & small sauna. Bed comfy, shower lush!

Cons:

Noisy neighbours at midnight in the corridor. Doors slamming etc.... woke me up :(
