Up from S Devon for a Travelzoo 2 nights B&B deal with a 2 course meal and drink on the first night. Superb value at £129 for my Wife & I. Hotel spotless with contemporary decor, superb staff and a lovely restaurant. Friendly, not corporate bland. Dog friendly with excellent en suite bedrooms and good wi-fi. Outstanding value so highly recommended.

I stay at the Holiday Inn South Normanton for work during the week for business and I'm there for 4 nights a week on average. It feels like a second home.
The staff are very friendly, especially Roy and Jo at the front desk, and the rest of the team.
The restaurant staff always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome.
The housekeeping team do a great job. The rooms are always clean, with no bad smells.
Thank you to all the staff at Holiday Inn for making my stays so comfortable.

We have just spent a few nights at this Holiday Inn and we are happy to say that it must rate as the best Holiday Inn there is. The staff are all welcoming, polite and helpful which is so reassuring to a weary traveler.
At this point we would like to mention three members of staff for their kindness, courtesy and the work ethic we experienced they are Alec in the restaurant, Harvey behind the bar and Lauren on reception. Together they made our stay!

The hotel is very well located , clean great breakfast and good facilities, very helpful staff however NO HEATING IN BATHROOM....We were freezing while showering or using toilet, main bedroom had to be over heated to accommodate the freezing bathroom. I ran the shower for 10 minutes on hot to try to heat the bathroom . The owners should realise they are not saving a few pennies heating the WC they are wasted a fortune of hot water/heating .

loved the atmosphere and the food. There was a lady called Tash at the bar, she made us some lovely caramel lattes, best I ever had. Our colleagues loved them. This is probably the best hotel around Mansfield.

Alex at the bar gave great service! Very attentive, quick service and good banter! The bar could be a bit warmer though, but the choice of beer is good

Came to visit to celebrate a special occasion, ANNA on the reception team was so lovely and welcoming. She was very informative and made our stay one to remember!
I will say the TVs in the room wouldn't let us screen share which was a little annoying but overall we had a brilliant stay thanks to ANNA.

Would definitely reccomend and come back again!

I’ve been coming to the hotel for around 5 years now, Jo and Dayna on reception are always happy and friendly when arrive regardless of how busy they are. In recent months the food has really improved, the chefs Mark, Rob, Carl and Jack prepare amazing meals, always good quality and fresh ingredients. A special thanks to Tash taking care of us in the restaurant always busy but happy to help. And lastly thanks to Alex the restaurant manager, always says hello and he checks in with us to see if everything is okay.

I have been staying at the Holiday Inn Mansfield for business for the past seven months, and the experience has been exceptional. For a long-term traveler, a clean room is expected, but the service is what makes a place feel like home.

The staff here are a true credit to the IHG brand. From Joanne on reception to Jordan in the restaurant and Harvey at the bar, the entire team is dedicated to ensuring a seamless stay.

The hotel is consistently clean and well-maintained, but it’s the genuine hospitality that keeps me coming back. I cannot recommend this location highly enough for anyone traveling for work

Very friendly and attentive staff at a hotel that is in a great location. Car parking facilities excellent, reception team always make you feel welcome, hotel bar and restaurant provide a relaxed environment, big shout out to Leigh-Anne and Jordan both very attentive and polite, nothing too much trouble. Rooms comfortably and well presented.

Everything at this holiday inn was very good,it was warm even on a very cold night, the wi fi stayed on the whole 2 days and there was plenty of parking space.The check in was friendly and welcoming.We didn't have breakfast this time but have done previously and it was good.

Fabulous hotel, we went yesterday 11th January as it was a Christmas present, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had an upgrade on our room, which was so comfy and cosy, with snacks in the mini fridge. We had a two course evening meal, which was out of this world. The steak was the best I have ever tasted! A big shoutout the Anna on reception , Alex and Izzy behind the bar, nothing was to much trouble. This morning we had a beautiful breakfast, full English,with a choice of a wide range of continental to also choose from, served by Denise who was so helpful and kind. All in all this was the best overnight stay I have ever been on, we are planning on going back for sure. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for an

The hotel is absolutely spotless, and the staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and looked after. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, they are a real credit to the hotel.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone staying in the area and would happily return myself, which I will be in February.
