The staff are great it's amazing place but stayed in room 402 could not get to sleep for the party that was going on will stop again but in a area not near were a party going on as couldn't sleep did complain but not much done as no manager on the staff member tried her best
Noise
Good location for Ecclesall Road and a pleasant walk into town.
The rooms are a bit tired. No usb ports, which is inexcusable in this day and age.
Beautiful grounds peaceful and quiet restful.
Nothing really all good staff excellent and caring
Beautiful hotel and grounds.
Screaming children keeping us awake running along the landing through the night. We skiped breakfast as the food looked like it had been sat there some time and didn’t look appealing at all.
Staff were excellent. They were all friendly and helpful. We can't praise enough.
In room 2025 the internet was poor and connection kept dropping out.
We could not stream on the TV so could only watch terrestrial channels.
The old Hall, which unfortunately isn’t really part of the hotel
It was a bit dirty and needs some upgrading, our room looked nothing like advertised, very disappointed with that.
Nice garden
Room was old and tatty with a broken toilet upgraded rooms and the upgraded room smelt like sewage and damp
Perfect location, great staff, very clean
Nothing
Very polite and helpful staff.
The room was very spacious and comfortable with all the essentials eg tea/coffee, safe, smart TV. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent.
The decor was slightly dated but still an acceptable standard for the price of the accomodation
Staff were generally helpful
Bed linen and towels were clean
Awful smell of drains in the bathroom (once the overwhelming smell of bleach had disappeared)
Room was tired and in generally poor condition
No radiators, only a plug in heater which I didn't feel was safe with small children
Only two useable plug sockets above a table (all other sockets were for round pins)
Pillows were very flat
Complimentary upgrade resulted in one bed being an extremely thin, springy mattress on a sofa bed (had to request a second duvet to lie on) rather than a second double bed which was originally booked.
Not worth £188 paid
