Dusty, damp room, played havoc with my asthma, whole place just felt run down and out of date,
Fusty, damp smelling room, dingy, dark, felt run down and in need of a refurbish,
The bed was so comfortable and so relaxing staff was so welcoming and friendly and polite and helpful
It's not what I didn't like but thought the room was a too big for me but that's because its my preference nothing wrong with big rooms I just get over whelmed with them the room was absolutely gorgeous and spacious everything you needed
Staff mainly were very good
Especially reception.
I hated the bed on arrival... Most unwelcoming.
Then having to take a crumpled and definitely not fresh or unused quilt from the wardrobe.
A nicely made up quilted bed would be much nicer on arrival.
Great staff a reception
Location was great
Hotel rooms are looking a bit dated
Good with plenty of choice.
Very loud music after midnight
Property was cheap.
A lot of rooms are in the basement with bad signal. The windows are single glazed and let in a lot of air making it cold.
This is a very dated hotel the carpets door frames are stained and scratched the whole place needs refurbing. The mattresses are also old. Whole place is in need of an update. The only plus point was the cheap price.
The room was a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.
The bathroom could have been bigger.
Location nice and lovely grounds
Needs a bit of decorating.
Room was quite cold and hearing did not work
Excellent!
Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was a little expensive.
Pet friendly rooms were very useful. Size of room was decent. Swimming pool was nice.
The room felt very outdated and budget for the price. Lots of minor snags like drippy taps, TV was very old and didn't work, you can hear the boiler or pump go in the wall very loud when neighbours used their bathroom, spa was a bit budget and smaller than the city Mercure spa, windows went straight into the car park with no plants or privacy glass, breakfast was passable but coffee was really undrinkable at breakfast. Worth noting for pet rooms the proximity of them is close to high traffic doors.
