Didn’t stay long enough
1980s furniture, damp, no support in bed, no care taken in presentation or cleaning, old decor, broken appliances in bathroom, chipped walls, trees and bushes pushing against window.

The staff. The disrespect, no heating working, housekeeping hardly cleaning just replaced towels, no room service, no iron in room. WiFi no working no internet connection in rooms
I love the grounds and how quiet it is.
My room was very clean and Natalie did a fantastic job to prepare the room for me
Dinner was poor. The menu lacking in imagination. The restaurants were unavailable on the first night and we ended up eating in the bar which was very disappointing
The hotel was very cold. We mention this to a staff member and her reply was yes it is I’ve had to put a jumper on!
I have stayed here several times before and found it pleasant. This time is seems run down.
We had a very good room with 2 comfortable double beds overlooking the lovely grounds. All the staff we came in contact with were very pleasant. The place was very dog friendly.. Will stay again
The furnishings were a little dated there was a.lot of noise during the evening near our room but it settled down by the time.w we went to bed
Have stayed several times and always been made welcome. A sort of ‘home from home’. I can thoroughly recommend a stay here!
The grounds were lovely and it was a nice location
The hotel is so run down. Tired is an understatement. There are bits of ceiling taped back together, water damaged and the rooms need so much work. The room wasn’t clean when we checked in, rubbish on the floor, stained carpet and the bathroom was really bad. The downstairs room were smoking cigarettes and weed on their balcony and the smell was drifting in through our closed windows all night, and we made several complaints as we have a young baby. The room smelt so bad it was as if we’d been smoking in it ourselves. The hotel reception was not interested in helping us at all and said people can do what they like in the property. They offered us a room to move into that they said isn’t usually used as it’s so old and run down. The corridors also reek of stale cigarettes and weed. Do not stay here… it’s a total waste of money and a real dump. Breakfast was also comparable to airplane food and the staff working at breakfast stunk of cigarettes too.
Characterful hotel, well located for Endcliffe Park and Brammall Lane. Nice pool and my son loved the free play pool table. Friendly staff.
Sound proofing was a bit lacking and/or some very noisy people in the hall. Wifi was slow and phone signal bad.
