The air-conditioning was hot, it malfunctioned . And was just advised to use a fan and that the maintenance department was unavailable.

Lots of problems with AC in many rooms . We went as large group but I had big fan in my room.
Our allocated room - Aircon not working. Had to escalate to senior management to get a room change. Took over 30 mins, reception phone not being answered. Second room - to didn’t work. Waited 20 mins - no maintenance as he had gone home. Manager at the bar helped to fix it. This is a dated hotel that has no lift. Difficult with 2 x 25kg suitcases.

We had our vehicle broken not in the car park
Check in was not good. Receptionist repeatedly questioning if breakfast was included despite me showing her on the app. Room was close to lake so couldn't open the window . Air conditioning wasn't the best either. Breakfast was excellent and so were the staff . Lovely hotel but need to sort reception out. Would recommend due to breakfast and facilities. Shame about check in about a 5 hour journey .

The staff were lovely and did their best to help, but unfortunately the hotel seems to have declined compared to our visit two years ago. Back then, everything was well maintained and the overall experience was much better. This time, it felt as though maintenance standards had been reduced.
The air conditioning was particularly disappointing. We had to check three different rooms before finding one with a properly functioning unit. Despite paying for a Superior Double room, we eventually had to settle for a standard Double room. It also took discussions with three different managers before we were offered a complimentary dinner as compensation.
Another disappointment was that the swimming pool is no longer available, which was one of the facilities we had enjoyed during our previous stay.
Overall, while the staff were friendly and helpful, the property appears to have lost the quality, facilities, and attention to detail that made our earlier visit so enjoyable.

Nothing wrong with the hotel
Had an issue with cleanliness of the shower but the staff took care of it immediately. Showerhead would not stay in place on the slide bar.
