The staff were friendly and accommodating, the hotel was clean, and there's great access to public transport, the breakfast was decent for the price, given the selection on offer, it was a large buffet breakfast.
It's slap bang in the middle of a very busy roundabout, with non-stop traffic day and night, bring noise cancelling headphones!! Also, the breakfast had no fried eggs in the English breakfast section of the breakfast buffet, only scrambled eggs.
Location was great. Room had good facilities, but looked tired. We had everything we needed in the room.

The fact that the room we had booked (and guaranteed with a credit card) was not available on our arrival. We had booked a twin (necessary because of my wife's disability) but we were only offered a standard double. Because of the time of day (nearly midnight) we had no option but to take that room. Upon later complaining we were told that, as they had provided a family room with two beds made up, we couldn't have a refund. The fact was that they only provided one made up bed but they said their records showed we had a room with two made up beds so they couldn't refund us. They eventually agreed, I think just to get rid of me, to give me a 30% refund. Shocking service from what should be a reputable company.
The room was clean, we had a comfortable night
We asked for twin beds, we got one double bed and a sofa bed that wasn't made up and there was barely room for it. The television didn't work. The staff weren't very attentive, didn't really greet us. The breakfast was not good, not much selection. The location wasn't great for the O2, quite a long walk to the subway then ride on the tube when the distance was described as half a mile from the O2
