A nice hotel in a good location. It just needs a bit of a reno, particularly in the bathroom.
Pros:

The location was excellent for our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was a warm night so we had the air conditioner on but even on the lowest setting it was noisy and had a rattle. The bathroom is tired and old. The shower is over the bath which is not good for folk like us who are over 60.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Great access to MCG and CBD via 48 and 75 trams.
Pros:

Clean, modern, comfortable, lovely foyer and bar/dining area. Particularly love that the hotel has retained the facade of the original building during the development and transition to a hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Full block out curtains so room was dark for sleeping. Air temp in room was easy to control and maintained the temp we wanted. Bathroom was slightly smaller than expected (King Room) and a little awkward to navigate around door - just something to keep in mind for those with mobility issues. Easy and quick access to restaurants and cafes, shopping in Richmond (which at only 1.4km away is easily walkable along a flat pathway). Also fantastic access to the CBD with the 48 and 75 trams taking you straight into Collins St (48) or down Flinders St (75). We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on this.

So easy, relaxing and convenient. Love it every time we stay
Pros:

It’s always easy. Great staff, great price, really good facilities. We stayed in the new wing and rooms were great.

Cons:

Wish you could open a window or have a ceiling fan to move air around.

Pros:

Amazing breakfast, bar staff and reception staff were very kind and helpful, room was clean and comfortable!

Disapointing. Would stay again if they just gave it a bit of love and renovations.
Pros:

Location, convenience of tram. The historic old building, the beautiful riverwalk.

The food, we had dinner at the on site resturant and the buffet breakfst and they were great value for quality. And happy hour drink specials.

Cons:

Outdated and smaller rooms. Pics are decieving. Wait forever for hot water in shower then barely ny pressure. Paper thin walls. Hardly used the outside balcony as it was not too inviting with old, plastic chairs. Only 2 standard pillows, no spares in room. When i rang room service they said there were no spare bed pillows in the whole hotel. They ended up bringing me a european style pillow. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable.
