Pros:

The stay was pleasant for us, a family of 3 kids. Will consider staying here again in our next vacation to Melbourne.

Great hotel, but suspicious of theft

Great location. Clean, comfortable room. Aircon worked well. Nice king sized bed. Very comfortable stay.

Cons:

There's power points by the bed, but you have to pull out the bedside tables to get at them, and they're very very low to the ground. Shower is in the bathtub so space is a little tight and water can go everywhere. Suspect a staff member may have stolen my credit card number (I'd never be able to prove this of course, and would love to be proven wrong).

Great place to stay and have been here many times and will be back
Pros:

Great location, secure parking at reasonable price, lovely service and staff got upgraded to one of the new rooms which were very tastefully decorated

Cons:

No rails or hooks for towels in bathroom and flooring made room very echoing and noisy

We missed having a balcony!
Pros:

We appreciate the location and cleanliness. The bad is always comfortable. The mandarin scented bathroom products are superb.

Cons:

Being able to sit on the balcony with a wine in the evening, or a coffee in the early morning, is something that makes the Amora stand out from other accommodation in the area. Twice now, we have been ‘upgraded’ to rooms that either don’t have a balcony (spa room) or have a tiny, triangle balcony with standing room for one person (King room).
On our most recent stay, when we were notified of an upgrade from the Queen Balcony room that we had booked, I asked if the room still had a balcony and was told yes. We were very disappointed to discover that the ‘balcony’ couldn’t fit a chair, or the two of us.

Room was amazing for the price. Very clean and comfortable. Good location.

Cons:

Only issue was that our included parking wasn't recognised at the end of our stay so had to run back inside hotel for them to open gate.

A beautiful hotel

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to one of the new rooms. It was gorgeous. Great value for money.

Cons:

Sounds pretty, but there was no where to hang towels in the bathroom. A few hooks on the wall or door would fix the problem.

Looking forward to coming back.
Pros:

There was a function there Saturday night, note was slipped under the door advising us of the function and the time it would go to. Parking was reasonable. Close to public transport so you could hop on the tram. Liked how the bar fridge had a light you could turn on/off - by leaving it on gave a low key night light for going to the bathroom. Room was very spacious. Staff were polite and friendly. Didn't hear tram noise, room overlooked a lovely quiet courtyard. Buffet breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Although they had a pillow menu - sadly not contour pillows only European, Boomerang, and Feather plus the soft pillows on the bed. So if you like a memory foam pillow - byo.
