Dreadful - we ate out at other much better 4 star hotels rather than eat at this one.

Whole property was very run down, electric wiring was a worry, food was dreadful never stayed in a 4star hotel that offered such poor quality food and choices at breakfast. Only offered chicken halal sausages no pork sausages. They weren’t happy for you to sit outside to enjoy the evening after 10pm as they shut the bar area then. You weren’t allowed to sit at the bar on the bar stools as we were told we would be in the way. No tea or coffee facilities in the room had to ask for a very old fashioned kettle! Generally this hotel could do with a complete refurb and new chefs.

We had a fabulous holiday in Como. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Pros:

The location was excellent.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was serviced well.
Our room looked like it had recently been refurbished and was very nice. View of the lake and the square.

Cons:

The continental side of breakfast was okay.
The hot selection not so good.

Great location, friendly staff, clean. Restaurant was excellent. Bar on site.

Cons:

The property is old, needs updating, even the electrical plugs are old. Asked for coffee in room, received a hotpot but the only location to plug it in with a more modern plug was one of two outlets in the bathroom.
