Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh

I really didn’t mind our stay. It was average. We had no problems parking and checking in was great and flawless. We had the room we reserved/expected and it was clean. The hotel has that stale cigarette smell that most older hotels have from back in the day when smoking was acceptable. It never comes out. Overall it was really quiet and and peaceful the door-dasher didn’t seem to have any issues dropping off the food.
Unfortunately and completely out of the hotel’s control; it is located in an area that has a lot of obvious drug/homeless/prostitution. Raleigh PD (quietly) made a few appearances. This is is really unfortunate because the hotel has no control over that; but it makes the hotel feel unsafe for my vehicle and if we were planning to leave. Safety is a huge part of choosing a hotel; especially when you have children. So it was a big deal. We felt very safe in our room, but I was glad to have an alarm on my car and we didn’t have to leave until we checked out. We were even a bit worried about using the gas station in the parking lot because we saw other guests being approached. Unfortunately the hotel is a victim of circumstance, but it is something to consider. It is a good hotel for someone on a budget (we got a very good rate) and doesn’t have to worry about being approached or worse; that sort of thing. Like I said, we felt totally safe IN the hotel. But totally Sketchy to leave hotel -!even in the morning/day time.

Fue una experiencia horrible llegamos en la noche y no pudimos ni dormir ahí fue horrible todo la habitación el personal de front desk patético todo, tuvimos a las 2am irnos a otro hotel porque era muy inseguro el lugar horrible sin duda una experiencia que no quiero volver a repetir jamás! Perdí mi dinero y casi pierdo la vida cuando un vagabundo de la cálle se nos acercó pidiendo drogas y golpeaba el vidrio de la ventana

The room was clean. Staff was hard to get ahold of at front desk, would have to knock on window to get someone to come half of the time. Parking was decent. You really get what you pay for. We stayed 2 nights for a concert and it was decent enough to sleep in. The hall had a musky smell but the room had no smell.

Toilet at our room wasn't working.

Easy check in. Clean rooms except for the fact there were crumbs in our bed?? The area around it was a bit sketchy but the stay was good and staff was friendly.

This hotel is not only filthy and worrisome because it has bulletproof glass and locked doors everywhere and warnings about safety
It is in an area that is not safe. There should not be a rental that orbit has on their site. We stayed 15 minutes and fled to another hotel

The room was dirty, three beer tops were underneath the phone, the bath tub was dirty. There were roaches in the room. The hallway was filthy. The elevator got stuck. There wasn’t a good breakfast selection.

The area was okay! It was beside a Red Roof Inn that was clearly unsafe. My room was nice, but it had cobwebs on the wall. The staff was excellent and courteous. I would stay again.

The property was clean and rooms were clean. You could hear the people who stayed there come in and out so the noise level wasn't too peaceful. Other than that great stay abd nearby restaurants.

The location was convenient but the hotel stay was terrible. Noisy, room smelled damp/unclean.

I like the fact you have to br buzzex or have a hotel card to get in..

Bed was comfortable and seemed clean and the staff were nice. Room smelled very strongly like cleaning products, but the entire floor was sticky and there was hair and dirt all over the bathroom from whoever stayed there previously. Breakfast options were not great. Stale slices of bread, frosted flakes/raisin bran and mini waffles. Okay for a one night stay if you aren't planning on spending a lot of time there.

Good for the price for a short stay!

Not the best microtel I've been to. People were hanging out and making noise until the early morning.

When first walking up everything seemed fine, but once through the doors it was one ick after another. The service was….not great. Came into town for a concert with family, My boyfriend came to surprise me and he would only allow him to come into the room for 15 min. I’ve never heard of such a thing! We got into the elevator, and it smelled awful, but only got worse once we got to our floor. The smell of urine hit me in the face as soon as the elevator doors opened. The floors were very dirty, the room was extremely hot and had a bad odor. The bed was so close to the ac that it wasn’t cooling the room down. The head board was visibly dirty, as were the mirrors. There were bugs and dirt in the bathroom floor, as well as a busted vanity. We stood in the room long enough to book a different hotel and then left immediately. I would not recommend staying here, at all!
