Microtel Inn by Wyndham Wilson

Could use some decor update. Carpet was worn and coming apart. Unfortunately our shower head fell off when I turned the water on. Thankfully I was standing outside of shower when it happened. Bed was somewhat uncomfortable. Breakfast was okay, but nothing substantial. We ate it the first morning and went out for breakfast after that.

Carpet in stairways is worm out.

The woman seemed very annoyed and was not very friendly after I waited alone at the front desk for 10 minutes. I paid for six nights upfront.I heard a dog barking every single evening and most mornings. The second day I was there, I went to the front desk to complain because a woman kept leaving he dog in the room unattended which is why it was barking so much, The guy working at the front desk told me "that's the owner, she can do whatever she wants". I reminded him that there's a sign at the front desk right beside him that States the corporate policy prohibiting pets being left alone in the rooms unattended.He just shrugged his shoulders and said "it's the owner". The fourth day I went to the desk to complain again. The "owner" heard me complaining about the dog being left unattended and came out of the office. she said that she was doing payroll and had to be in the office. I repeated my previous comment that there's a sign stating the corporate policy that it is prohibited to leave pets unattended and that it was happening every single day at least once, if not twice a day. This rude woman, "owner", told me that she had to pay her staff with a very condescending tone and smart aleck attitude. I told her that if she continues to be rude and break her own, and corporate, rules and runs all her guests away that she will never make payroll. She began making other excuses so I asked "are you even going to make an effort to make the dog stop barking, follow the policy, or at the very least apologize"? I also let her know that I would be giving her a bad review. Finally she said that she would go to the room and stop the dog from barking and wanted me to make sure that I put in the review that she did apologize. I told having to be ask or made to apologize is not an apology. I also let them know when I checked out that an apology without changed behavior means nothing.

Always smelled cigarettes smoke ,no elevator my over the bed headboard light didn't work, not good water pressure and the toilet paper too far frome the toilet, my wife has short arms and if she would've been with me she wouldn't have been able to reach it.

The rooms could use new carpets.

Funny smell from rug like mildew

carpet was well worn and frayed, baseboard in main room was missing, door stuck and was almost impossible to open, staff knew the door was sticking and gave me the room anyway, cell phone erased the room card. room was 60 degrees when I arrived.

Its the staff very rude and seem like they racist

Convenient to 95 and local restaurants (Olive Garden)
