Hervorragende Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück.
Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise ist die Substanz etwas baufällig. Hat aber einen gewissen Charme…
Customer service. Every member of the staffs are amazing. We all thank you for your hard work and kind hospitality. Discovering the building it will gives you new bit of history always. The dining room has the pride of Paganini playing in there in 1831. While you are having your breakfast you can play with your imagination going back in time as mostly kept in old form as it was.
The days going so fast. 🤣
How friendly and helpful all the staff are everything we visit
As its being renovated not quite the same so will be happy once all completed
disappointed there was no tea/coffee making facilities

Customer service is second to none. I got an automatic upgrade at my check in to most value my presence as regular customer. Rooms are comfortable and well decorated. The hotel location is excellent. You walk across the road and you find the sea and so many nice restaurants for refreshments. Live singers, icecream, museum everything you want. The hotel itself has got so many beautiful, spacious community areas as well, decorated in style.
The carpet a bit old in the room and some parts of the wall could be redecorated.
Bed was very comfortable and room was decent size.
Could not get a coffee at 11 in the morning - bar was very limited. No draught beer, couldn't get hot chocolate.
Breakfast was lovely
Rooms do need updating
Well located
Dirty room (particularly bathroom), odour throughout the hotel, very dilapidated, potentially being used as a bail hotel
Location to town centre and seafront
Very tired and tatty.
There was a lift but still had to use stairs too.
Breakfast was horrible and very processed.
The hotel is in an amazing location, right on the seafront, easy walking to all key areas
The staff were all without exception attentive, friendly and helpful
Character and history of the hotel - main reception rooms are amazing, spacious and lots of seating
The hotel is in the middle of renovation so is tired and in need of love, rooms are bright and clean with king size beds and en suites but the corridors and stairs are poorly signed and tatty
Tea/coffee is basic
Temporary bar is limited and no ambience or atmosphere in the reception rooms on the front of the hotel. Clearly recognised and being worked on
It's nothing like the pictures
The bed
Location
Tried to book parking and the hotel phone message said there is parking on site but it is first come first served. Got there early to find out that it is now a building site. Reception said this is noted on their website. Website does not mention anything about the parking not being available
Breakfast was fine.
Position, friendliness
Issues with water provision in bathroom. Windows didn’t open
Great location , lovely hotel , pleasant staff , big room.
Rooms are tired and need tlc, no tea/coffee facilities in the room , no usb sockets for charging phones etc
