Ocean View Hotel

What a great team at the hotel!! Eva, Theresa and David were absolutely GREAT to us!! They got a great room, with a killer view, at the last minute. They were able to get us checked in early and made awesome suggestions. The bikes at the hotel made it fun to cover more ground on the beach and the valet was super easy. The staff was awesome and we'll absolutely stay there again.

I stayed there last week. Everything was perfect. Room was great and the location was perfect. The staff were so pleasant and kind. Heidi and Cristian were great very helpful and very nice. They really went well beyond to make sure my family and I were happy. I can not wait to go back! Thank you, guys!

This hotel was phenomenal from the friendly staff members to the cleanliness of the entire facility. The location is convenient as it is right on the beach and is within walking distance from many eateries and shops.

The hospitality overall was incredibly and I will absolutely book with Ocean View in the future.

Zu erst natürlich die Lage direkt an der Santa Monica Pier. Der Check in war schnell und das Personal sehr nett. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick der sehr nice war. Es gab eine Kaffee/Tee-Maschine auf dem Zimmer und das Bad war ausreichend groß. Die Klimaanlage lief tatenlos. Der Zimmerservice war unauffällig und gut. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

First off Heidi & Ashley at the front desk welcomed us, well, like you'd want to be welcomed. A pleasant surprise for sure.
The place is a short walk to the Santa Monica Pier, thank goodness because we don't hike anymore..... we stroll.
We had an ocean front room with a small balcony but it was great to sit there and people watch.
The valet parking was expensive but my car was ready for me quickly.
I'd stay there again for sure.

The location was perfect for the beach and the shops, restaurants within walking distance nice bars just round the block

It's located in a very good place - everything is close. The Hotel itself is decent, though is quite old. The staff was very friendly and helpfull

We loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect next to the pier and multiple restaurants with easy access to valet parking. The space was clean and the staff was kind and accommodating. Whitney at the front desk was especially helpful with the check in process and answering all questions we had throughout our stay. It was also fun to have access to bikes to explore with from the hotel. A wonderful experience overall!

This Ocean View property has a great location to the pier, shops and dining all within walking distance. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

This was an amazing stay! From the moment we walked in Whitney from the front desk took care of us! She was so accommodating and friendly throughout our stay! I would 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Santa Monica!

Lovely stay at this hotel stones throw from the beach ! End of our route 66 trip from east to west and perfect end to us as weary travellers. Birthday and anniversary celebration for us to and have to say Heidi and Rocio made this even more special ! Petals , towel art, roses , chocolates etc greeted us in the room . What customer service is this ! Amazing if all hotels went to this length they would get much more business .

Joy & Porsha were exceptional in their assistance with Restaurants and trips in Santa Monica and LA’s surrounding neighborhoods. Christian as well helped us in recovering my sister’s clothes that she left in our room’s closet. The balcony view is spectacular. Ocean View Hotel is a great location to stay at in Santa Monica. Nice to stay where the staff listens to you. Loved chatting with Theresa as well. 5 stars from CT sisters.

Amazing experience!
I came to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation, only to find out upon arrival that my fully paid reservation had been cancelled TWO days earlier without any notification, despite charging me 100% a month ago. Expedia/Booking.com completely messed up the reservation, and after almost 48 hours without sleep, I was exhausted and shocked.

Thankfully, the team at Ocean View Hotel completely changed this experience for us.

Heidi Nelson and Christian Morales showed incredible professionalism, empathy, and kindness during a very stressful moment. They found us a similar ocean view room, welcomed us warmly, and even gave my daughter a super cute gift that meant so much to us. 💛

The hotel itself is amazing: clean, comfortable rooms stocked with everything you need, including all bathroom essentials, valet parking, lots of food options nearby, and an excellent safe location just steps from the pier. Safe area! Value 5/5!
You truly feel at home here!

One of my favorite memories will be drinking morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean and feeling the fresh ocean breeze. Absolutely incredible experience that not every hotel can offer.

You can't beat the view and location! The valet service was incredible, definitely worth it! Love the lobby and staff, great stay all around!

Hotel is beautiful, right on the main strip and my Ocean view balcony room overlooked the famour pier.
Theresa and Ashley were so friendly when I checked in and Ashley helped me later to borrow a free bike for a few hours, it was perfect to ride down to Venice beach right before sunset.
My room was huge and Im glad I upgraded to the balcony.
Only issue for me was there was little pressure in the shower and you have to go PAST the hot part to get hot water but that is only minor.
Highly recommend!

We were only here for 2 nights but the staff were amazing from the moment we got here.
Theresa who i saw mostly was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area .
No request was difficult , special shout out to Joy who we met on the morning /day of our arrival. Great location would definitely stay again.
