The whole presentation of the hotel the cleanliness and how friendly the staff were. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were always there to help.

I want to take a moment to share the incredible service we received from Heidi during our stay at the Ocean View Hotel. My sister and I were going through a particularly challenging time, and Heidi's warmth and compassion made a world of difference.

From the moment we arrived, Heidi went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. She took the time to check in on us, offering not just a friendly smile but heartfelt support that truly resonated with us. Her thoughtful gestures, whether it was recommending local spots or simply lending a listening ear, turned our stay from a difficult experience into one of comfort and care.

It's rare to encounter someone as dedicated and sincere as Heidi in the hospitality industry. Was a great stay here and the staff like Theresa Eva were super helpful and went above and beyond. They accommodated an early check in, had towels and a bag available for the beach, and were very helpful.

Our 1 night stay at Ocean View was great. We arrived early flying into LAX from Melbourne and the front desk staff Joy and Heidi were friendly and welcoming. They did what they could to bring our check in forward after a long flight and we were able to get into our room 3 hours early. Complimentary use of the nearby Anytime Fitness was great. The rooms were clean with a modern Nespresso machine. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Santa Monica

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ocean View Hotel in late January. We were lucky enough to get a fourth floor room with a balcony overlooking the beach and Pacific, and we enjoyed it very much. We didn't make it back every evening for sunset but the view was so gorgeous we made an effort every day. The room itself was clean, efficient, and very comfortable. Shower had excellent pressure. The staff were so welcoming--Heidi and Joy were very helpful at check-in, and Eva was very accommodating when we checked out. We would happily return in the future!

From the time we arrived staff was polite and professional, front desk, valet and housekeeping always with a smile. we stayed in 319 ( ocean front) room was clean and spacious. Fridge was full for a charge. Free wifi. Convenient location to Santa Monica Pier and many restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Heidi at the front desk truly went above and beyond to help us when we faced a disappointing experience with a third-party booking through TripAdvisor. We had reserved what was supposed to be “A room with a view,” but it turned out there was no view at all. Initially, one of the staff members told us there was no possibility of an upgrade, which added to our frustration. Thankfully, Heidi understood our situation and made it possible for us to get a better room, bringing a much-needed sense of relief.

The view was amazing, you have to requeat ocean view. Staff where amazing, room is clean and modern. Santa Monica Pier, Beach, promenade with lots of restraunts within reach.

When booking this trip I decided on either the Shore or Ocean View.. both looked to be top notch but presumed Ocean View would be quiter.
I was right.. beautiful high class hotel, perfect location and amazing friendly staff.. shout out to Heidi for all her local recommendations.
Went with the court yard room as we were really just wanting a nice quiet and safe place to rest after a crazy busy LA experience.
Side note.. we're from the country and LA was a bit much for us so really glad we used Santa Monica as home base. Way quieter and a nice relaxed beach vibe. Highly recommend!!

Heidi and Joy were a delight! So kind and helpful! I loved my stay it was so relaxing. The late staff (not Heidi or Joy!) are not AS nice so try not to get back too late lol.

Heidi was great! Made me feel special when she noticed I was checking in on my birthday and gave me a few extra freebies. It’s the little things.

I travel a lot for work and I loved this hotel so much and especially the people who worked there. Everyone was super kind, genuine and useful— and especially Heidi who is by far one of the nicest people I have encountered in my 18 years old work travel life. She even helped me a get a free ride by cart to one of my work locations dinners as my phone was off. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return.
