Convenient, on the beach , had ocean front queen suite. Fourth or fifth time here in three years.
Every time we’re here there is an issue with an elevator needing servicing. We each had massages but my partner was offered extras and none were offered to me and I’m aware there is a charge. They charge you a hospitality charge in the spa in addition to the massage. Robe, cup of tea and orange slices with massage was 800$ for two. They should offer bathrobes in the suites so the woman can be covered after showering.

Always lovely
Upkeep on elevators could use some paint
The hotel was great value for money brilliant staff and our ocean view room was fantastic
It's hard to find anything good... Maybe the guys at the beach service—they're quite nice and helpful. And as I wrote below—the coffee at the shop is really good. And water to refill at the reception in two flavors - a good idea.
Besides, Fort Lauderdale is truly beautiful. About 5 km from the Pelican Hotel - Tinta Restaurant - Outstanding. Highly recommended. Instead.
The hotel is very old and clearly worn out. It seems it hasn't been renovated or undergone any serious renovations in a long time. Our first contact with the reception desk seemed encouraging–we arrived a bit early, but as we were early check-in guests, we were assured that our rooms would be available soon. The result: a wait of over four hours, with no response from the reception staff. Additionally, the very next day, we discovered that hotel guests had a promotional water taxi ticket issued at the front desk. Of course, no one informed us about this. I found out completely by accident. Next: the elevators were working very poorly, with broken buttons. The most efficient one was a service elevator, theoretically not for hotel guests.Next: the very unfriendly receptionist in the restaurant before breakfast. Trying to be seated at a table—most of them were unoccupied—we were told that the kitchen couldn't keep up with serving breakfast because they were understaffed and kept us waiting. Fortunately, the manager helped a bit. But... I don't think I've ever had such terrible avocado toast (and so expensive, by the way). The worst in my life. $83 for two with coffee. Of course, a 20% tip was mandatory. We didn't go back, but I did try some coffee and muffins at the local shop for a change. The coffee is good, but the saleswoman who makes it is probably the most sullen of the staff. Training in smiling is highly recommended.
Although the hotel is located directly on the beach, it's in a place where everything is far away. Don't count on walking distance. Costal winds are likely the cause, but don't count on the balcony window opening freely. Besides, it takes a pretty strong man to open it. Some impressions, to name a few.
L’endroit est sublime !
La nourriture pas exceptionnelle mais tout le reste parfait
I absolutely love this facility. I wish they would have lit the fires out front at night. It’s the reason I booked this hotel because of how beautiful it was at night. I was staying next-door a few summers ago and seen it.
Not much I didn’t like beautiful place
Everything
Even though I got late checkout at 1PM, they started bagging on my door at 11AM
Przestronny pokój z widokiem na ocean.
Stare windy z popsutymi przyciskami, wysoka kaucja pobierana podczas zameldowania w wys 600$ za 4 dni. Późna godzina zameldowania . Niesmaczne i drogie śniadania w restauracji hotelowej.
