Quality Inn Tyler - Lindale

I booked this hotel for 4 days because I had work in Tyler. When I walked in the lobby to check in, it was 80 degrees and they had a couple fans going. I asked if the air worked in the rooms because it was 100+ out. They did. I felt terrible for the staff though. They stated it’s always like that.
My first 2 days I would have to have my key card redone because it wouldn’t work. After working 12 hours and being in that heat going to the 4th floor then back down because I couldn’t get in my room was not pleasant.
The pool was closed. They had no extra towels and didn’t even have a spoon.
It’s an older hotel and has not been taken care of. The rooms are run down, toilet never quit running for the 4 days I was there.
The topper was the cockroach in my room.
NEVER AGAIN! I recommend you pay a little more and stay some place else because this place is gross.

My stay was less than desirable. I've stayed here in the past and was pleased but this time not so much. It looked like the hotel has not been kept up. The furniture in the room had stains that have not been cleaned. The sink and tub did not have stoppers so if you dropped something it was gone. The staff was friendly so no issues there. I was very disappointed in the condition of the room but I just needed a place to sleep for the night.

No one told us there was a certain age you have to be too book the room. wont give us our refund. and they’re service is just not there.

They are so rude and o professional flat out lied to me about the 100$ deposit room was filthy and bugs crawling around the room and tables took 30 minutes to find some bony to check in ! Never ever ever again

This is an older property and could use some new paint, etc. Our room was clean and the A/C worked. We had difficulty getting into the room with the provided key card, and the gentleman on duty reprogrammed the key and personally came to our room to make sure we could get in. I wish I had gotten his name so I could express my appreciation for his going the extra mile! We slept well and would stay here again.

It was what i expected for a low priced room.

This is a very old hotel. It smells musty. The room and bathroom were old and dirty. The bathroom reminded me of an old gas station bathroom. The bed was hard. We did not sleep well here. I’ve had good luck with Quality Inn in the past but this one was not good. There was supposed to be a full breakfast but it was not ready so I’m not sure what they usually serve.

It's passable, continental breakfast ok'd.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was impressed they had low sugar cranberry juice! As a diabetic I never have juice options when eating out so that was really nice. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.

We enjoyed our stay from the beginning: friendly and professional staff; fast service; clean room and linen; comfortable bed; great water pressure in the shower head; and wonderful breakfast.

This hotel will be our preferred lodging on future trips to Tyler.

A little disappointed because I have stayed at this property several times over the past 15 years.

Roaches and poor service

The bathroom ceiling had a huge patch of mold (almost over the whole shower big), the toilet seat wasn't the right kind or size for the toilet, and there was a roach in the shower. The room itself was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was gross. In the morning there was advertised free breakfast but since only one worker was working they could not keep up with the demand and most things were empty.

The balcony didn’t lock, the water takes forever to get warm was told breakfast would be served 6am-9am was given vouchers went down that morning and was told a different story and no breakfast
