Fabulous!
Pros:

We arrived on foot, walking the Dales Way, having booked a standard room. They upgraded us to the most beautiful suite! The staff on reception were wonderful and so keen to please. The room was sensational and the whole stay exceeded our expectations.

Comfortable and practical with pleasant and helpful staff
Pros:

It was a lively bustling hotel popular with lots of different types of guests from holiday makers to business. It was a good location for us just breaking our journey before onward travel. It was comfortable and had lots of amenities.

Cons:

The main restaurant was a bit pricey and the pub with cheaper options was a bit of a walk in the dark although within the grounds. The lighting around this area could be improved

Great for a one night stopover
Pros:

Due to Storm Boelo raging it was inadvisable to continue on our journey to Scotland. Nice hotel, a little on the large side for us, but most welcome and a comfortable night was had. Good dinner and plentiful breakfast overlooking the lovely grounds in the morning. Very clean and the decent sized bath towel was appreciated.

Cons:

Think the Dove toiletries are not the best!
