Cons:

The junior suite was not very big, the pictures were very misrepresentation of reality as it overlooks a dark interior patio and not outside views. Very noisy bathroom. When sleeping bed pillows are literally less than one meter from room door. Paid extra parking for booking through booking.com when normal visitors do not pay as it is an open area and 100m from reception. Breakfast average quality.

A comfortable stay with very pleasant staff
Pros:

The bedroom and bathroom were modern and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were all very welcoming, pleasant and efficient
Good location, 25 min walk into Kendal.

Cons:

The pool was not as expected. Small dark and dingy
The view from the room was a roof and pipe ducting

Would not recommend to people with cars who use booking.com as they hit you with hidden car parking charges

The stay at the Castle Green Hotel was pleasant enough
Pros:

Short drive to town centre

Cons:

The menu in the Bar/Restaurant area
Had to use the restaurant menu for dessert
Again very expensive for what was described
Didn’t like the fact that I had to pay £10 per night to pack at the hotel with no other option
This isn’t right when other visitors don’t pay
