We liked the location and the grounds + facilities
Confusing stairs, to get to our room we had to go up and down different stairs in different areas and the lift didn’t bring us to our floor it could only take up part way
Nice location. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff
The resturaunt was a bit pricey. But food was good
Really nice hotel for a little breakaway with my daughter. The setting and surrounding area was really nice. The bar and bar food were lovely and reasonably priced. There is nice seating area outside.
The kids times for the pool were very limited, especially in the week. It would be better if these were extended even by and hour in the morning or an hour in the evening. I booked the hotel as it had a pool but we missed one evening as were were back after 5pm.
View was perfect
Shower head was awful
The overall experience was brilliant, great hotel with a comfy room, and great facilities, the breakfast was fantastic.
Spacious. Very comfortable and well appointed room
Very comfortable bed
Swimming pool was fully booked so wasn't able to use for morning swim
The breakfast was lovely but the staff could do with learning to smile. The first room we were offered the attached picture is the view we had which was a joke. Second room was slightly better
They charged us £10 for parking which was added to the booking disgusting, first room was unacceptable as you can see the view also room was small. Also staff really could do with been more friendly
Helpful nice staff
Had to pay for the carpark, was not told this at time of booking.
The staff are wonderful. Very welcoming and attentive to guests.
The room was very dated. Loved the balcony and view, but the furniture needs a refresh.
Location was good. Staff were helpful staff.
Bathroom very small and cramped. Fan for it was noisy. 3 star not 4 star.
I did not understand why the Sunday lunch menu did not include roast lamb. It is Cumbria, famous for lamb.
