TV didn’t work
Room phone didn’t work
No fridge in the room
No complementary water
The bathroom door from outside was fine from inside it needs painting, it had some dark spots old…
You can hear cars driving by, noisy
Breakfast should may be until 10am not until 9:30am just my opinion (as I was eating I went to get more orange juice the lady there told me it is 9:30am it is closed
Front desk staff I think needs a little bit more training to be more warm and friendly (the young lady there she was ok but could be more friendly and more warm while still remaining professional
And when I told them about the TV not working and the room phone not working I didn’t hear any apologies or any attempt to accommodate she just said we do have anyone tonight they will come tomorrow morning but I check out in the morning so and this is World Cup week and no TV
Anyways I am not angry or anything the front desk staff lady was ok she wasn’t bad or anything but I am just giving constructive feedback more training might be needed and ensure TV works, room phone works before hand

We couldn't sleep for three nights because fireworks were being let off right outside out hotel room until 3 or 5 am. Also the elevator broke and my boyfriend walked up 7 flights of stairs with a bad back.

The staff were very unfriendly I arrived at the location at 140 I asked if I could check in early and was willing to pay extra to do so. I understand if the that wasn't possible because the room wasn't not ready but the staff member was extremely rude in telling me I should not be here before 3. I understand that but it was the way he said it he clearly has zero people skills. Later we tried to use the coach bed at 130 in morning. When we opened it up there was a sheet half on the bed with old food on it that actually started growing mold. There was also a odor from this when we opened it that made us sick to our stomach. When I talked to the front desk guy at night about this asking to go look at it he tried to tell me it was above his pay grade. He clearly didn't want to be bothered with it. Another employee with no people skills. Finally after a long deliberation he finally switched are room. When we got to the new room the couch bed had a disgusting mattress. When I asked the front desk guy for sheets and a pillow he told us it was are job to get them when we got there at 3 not at one thirty in the morning even suggesting we take the filthy unsanitary sheet from the old room and use that. He finally gave us sheets for it and I had to go to the old room myself and get pillows. In the new room we ended up finding random pills on the floor. In al my travels this is by far the worst experience I have ever had.

Given a room with someone squatting in it and then moved to room next door which gave no confidence of safety

No private beach ,
Cleanliness of room was not great , was not comfortable .

The New Haven La Quinta seemed like the idea was to warehouse people rather than have them prized as guests who chose to enoy the facility. The room felt as if furniature had been dumped there without much idea of the people using it and as a result you felt you were also being dumped there till you could get away the next morning. It was billed as a "Deluxe Suite" but when we found nothing deluxe about it we were told it was called that for its view of the water. The water view turned out to be about an inch and a half of the water and mostly a view of the super highway between the hotel and the water. As far as calling it a suite, the definition was new to me. I always understood suite to mean two rooms, but if privacy was your concern, this was essentially one room with a strange looking divider that offered no privacy for the third person.
