Perfect location and felt safe. Grounds are lovely.
Cons:

The shower is somewhat small but it is an international hotel and older properties usually have smaller showers.
My commodes inside the tanks parts broke in the middle of my second night so it was inconvenient.

This is proving a great and happy place to stay on our short stops in Johannesburg.
Pros:

This hotel is in an excellent location for getting to all the good things to do in Rosebank and nearby in Melrose. We had a quieter room this time on the ninth floor - less traffic noise - which afforded us nice views of Johannesburg. It was a comfortable and happy stay.

Cons:

The breakfast location is good, and the breakfasts themselves are fair. I didn't have breakfast this time knowing that I would get a better selection at Woolies or Tashas plus a better array of alternative milks.

Хороший отель, твердая четверка. Ужинали в ресторане отеля-всё вкусно. Один раз заказывали еду в номер, быстро и качественно. Бассейном не пользовались.

Great but the lack of professionalism from staff was almost a turnoff.
Pros:

The property is great and the location couldn’t be better. Great food !

Cons:

The staff- reception staff paternalistic . No idea about client services. Restaurant staff can’t stand outside the kitchen and bash the food. Definately it’s not to their taste but that’s not for guests!!!
