They were very helpful . I was visiting my daughter. I had a room with 2 single beds in and my daughter stayed for 1 night . The breakfast was very nice. I could turn the heating on to heat the room up and then turn it down. The shower was lovely .
There was nothing that I did not like about the room or staff.

Booking.com hadn’t communicated to the hotel that we wanted twin beds as I was travelling with my adult son. . Fortunately the lovely receptionist made up a sofa bed in the room .
Small, somewhat dated hotel, that looks very presentable from the outside and a little tired inside, but is perfectly serviceable and has an excellent staff.
A couple of twists and runs from the roundabout it’s located on, and you are is a perfectly sized, small free parking area. The entrance is close and the reception immediately inside. The parking is rather inclined, but two or three handicapped spaces are located hard by the entry door on level with it.
The place is a sea of mild browns and muted colors, and reminds me a bit of a grandparents house, not in the cozy way, but the dated way. However, the receptionist was chipper and helpful, even at nearly 2100. The room was quickly confirmed, and card key provided.
First minor surprise, this two story facility has no lift. Through the school-like brown doors and up the stairs, then through a couple of more doors and down a very dated appearing hallway to the room set expectations appropriately. The room, like the hallway and reception is dated in appearance, but spotless in condition. The large bed (queen?) takes a sizable portion of the room, with a corner seat and a desk the rest.
The TV is small, but appropriate, and the desk provides both a pair of British and a single Euro plug. A small desk in the entry wall holds a kettle, a pair of cups, and some supplies. A dryer is placed by the full length mirror, next to a few hangers on a rack. The curtains are blackout, the noises are muted, the bed is very comfortable.
The bathroom is the most dated feature of the room. With a peculiar three-way door that can either separate the bathroom from the room or the WC from the room and the rest of the bathroom, I struggle to understand why the side wall of the WC is a textured and somewhat opaque sheet of glass shared with the shower. The tile floor has the slight crunchy feel of needing to be replaced, but it’s a perfectly serviceable bathroom…if very small.
The provided HIEx breakfast is, as expected, simple. It’s not fine cuisine, it’s an included free breakfast, and should serve the needs of most people. The staff is friendly and efficient, bustling around to clear/clean the breakfast area and refresh the offerings.
It’s not a four or five-star hotel, it’s a simple place to stay without having one’s wallet drained, and a good value at that.
