Great location, rooms need serious investment
Pros:

I stayed here for three nights on a work trip. The location is excellent, a beautiful part of the city with outstanding public transport connections, making it very easy to get around. The lobby and breakfast room are well-appointed and in keeping with the hotel's standard. The breakfast itself was a highlight, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout, exactly what you need when travelling for work.
Above all, the staff stood out: consistently warm, professional and efficient.

Cons:

Honestly, this is not a €300-a-night hotel, at least not when it comes to the rooms.
The air conditioning was a real problem: noisy, inefficient, and running constantly because it simply couldn't bring the room to a comfortable temperature. There was no way to open the window for fresh air either, seagulls fly straight in. No kettle, no cups, no selection of coffee, tea or herbal teas, the basics you'd expect in any four-star property were simply absent.
The minibar wasn't working, which meant no cold water and no way to store anything, including the famous pastéis de nata I'd picked up. When I raised this at reception, staff were already aware (mine wasn't the only broken fridge), but nothing could be done. They kindly offered to store my pastries in the hotel kitchen fridge, a nice gesture, but not what you expect at this price point.
The staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout, and the hotel's common areas and location are lovely, which makes the gap with the room experience all the more frustrating.
My honest recommendation: the ownership should invest in bringing the rooms up to the standard the hotel's reputation and pricing actually promise.

Ótima localização, funcionários muito simpáticos e prestáveis, quarto limpo e confortável e ótimo pequeno almoço.

Cons:

Gostei muito do hotel mas as janelas deviam ter melhor isolamento sonoro e faz falta uma piscina para ficar perfeito.

Great location, lovely service
Pros:

Room was spacious, clean and bright. The location was perfect for my business meetings. The wifi was good (important as I had to run an online workshop while I was there). Breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. They called me a taxi when I left for the airport, which was fast and efficient.

Cons:

I returned from breakfast to do an online meeting in my room. I forgot to put my keycard back into the slot. I didn't realise that as well as powering the lights, the keycard powered the sockets. My laptop died during my online meeting - at that point I realised, and managed to rejoin. So it might be good to have a sign to say that lights AND POWER will not work without the keycard inserted.
