The Dharmawangsa Jakarta

The grounds were beautiful and it didn’t feel like you were inside a mega city. So peaceful and classy.

We are at the Dharmawangsa in rainy season; it was quiet! Service and stuff were fantastic, so friendly and open to chat and give advice and share insights about Indonesia. Breakfast buffet was amazing, continental and hot, Indonesian and International , truly "all you can eat". Coffee bar was amazing, one person in our party is a coffee aficionado and the baristas were happy to chat and explain and pull out all the best and different coffees, and even recommended a local coffee bean market.
Rooms were large and lovely. Beds incredibly comfortable. Pool is just as beautiful as in the photos.

The breakfast is hybrid buffet and ala carte, the food is prepared fresh and delivered with excellent Service (note the capital S). Ahmodi, our server for our last breakfast of the stay was fantastic and catered to our every need; which prompted me to write this review. The bircher muesli and three egg omelette are my personal recommendation. The room itself is well appointed, and dead quiet late at night, which seems rare for Jakarta, being the largest city in the world. The grounds and interior fit out are gorgeous and feel uniquely Indonesian with a historical aesthetic. Tasteful traditional local music pipes through a well hidden sound system, making one feel as part of a luxury, retro colonial experience.

This hotel truly delivers a genuine five-star service standard. From the warm hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, to the excellent quality of the facilities, everything is exceptional. The atmosphere is awesome, calm and exclusive, making it perfect for both leisure and business stays. Overall, the experience was highly satisfying.

So the hotel room is really good and spacious. Food was excellent and too many varieties.. atmosphere, service and staff friendliness was too notch. Ahmadi, Nisa, Yanto, Agan and Dafa were amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Jakarta!

The staff very friendly and Arief Abdillah was attentive for breakfast. Room was big and spacious, and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
