Pros:

The staff were very friendly, and made the stay above my expectations. The breakfast was excellent

The beds, too soft and bouncy. The bed linen was tired and not cotton. I would have preferred sheets and the option of a duvet

Disappointed with this visit
Pros:

I had stayed here before and had been satisfied it was a nice and comfortable hotel, so booked again for this latest trip to London. I had booked a Cosy room, which had some features I was looking for.

Check-in was 3pm, but managed to check-in a little earlier. When I entered the room I found it quite small and it did not have the USB ports as described in the room information when booking. I just dropped my bags and had to head out for an event.

When I got back around 8pm, I found the bathroom to be small and the shower was in the bath. Also, the glass shelf above the kettle was very dusty.

The A/C did not work properly and the TV only had 2 channels out of approx. 30 channels that worked. I called reception and they offered to send someone up, but I had had a long day and therefore did not want someone coming into the room, so they suggested I see reception in the morning and would be moved to another room.

The next morning, I handed my key in and was advised I could check-in to the new room after 12 noon. I mentioned the A/C not working properly and they advised it is centrally controlled. The room was very stuffy. Other colleagues staying in this hotel had the same issues with the A/C and asked for fans.

I checked-in around 4pm and the new room was double the size with a USB port and a much larger bathroom and walk in shower.

Breakfast was reasonable and was not busy at 7am.

I don't think I would stay here again as I was disappointed being allocated a room type I did not book and the issues faced this time round.
