Geweldig hotel, kamer met allerlei extra's als een strijkbout en strijkplank. Koffie (echte) en thee. Koud water op de gang. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt.

Il check in non è stato "velocizzato" nonostante ci siamo presentati in struttura in largo anticipo e aver richiesto una maggiore "velocità " nel poter avere la camera.
La camera non era ben servita, nessun tipo di fazzoletto presente, le ciabatte le abbiamo dovuto richiedere noi, il sapone per le mani non è stato ricaricato anche e fosse praticamente vuoto.. le lenzuola devi richiedere di fartele cambiare con un foglietto, rispetto l'etica dell'hotel l'abbiamo fatto ma le coperte erano state cambiate con coperte macchiate, al secondo giorno che abbiamo richiesto di cambiare le coperte erano sempre le stesse. C'è stato un malfunzionamento dell'ascensore per circa 36h...
Great location
I booked a day use at this location with a check-in time of 10 a.m. and check-out at 6 p.m. I arrived at approximately 10:30 a.m. and was informed by the receptionist that my room was not ready. After waiting for around 15 minutes, I was told the room was ready and, as a courtesy for the inconvenience, I was offered a room upgrade, although there might be a power issue! I went to inspect the room before paying and confirmed that the electricity was working. I returned to pay for the room, came back, and found that the TV was not working. I called reception and waited for about 20 minutes for the technician to arrive, but he was unable to fix it. Frustrated, I requested to cancel my booking as the service was below my expected standards. This was my first time staying at a Mercure brand hotel, and I was not impressed with the product. The staff were extremely pleasant and showed empathy to my issues and thankfully have not charged me. Would I go back again? Not to that particular hotel.
Maintenance was taking
place in the room next to me when I arrived and I had to phone reception to ask them to stop the banging in the next room. This did stop but as I had requested a quiet room it was very disappointing that I had to deal with this

One of our party uses a wheelchair- the staff were so considerate and the hotel’s health and safety protocols were spot on.
Breakfast very good value. Staff were great. Spotlessly clean.
The wheelchair access to the hotel wasn’t great - you had to go round to the rear of the hotel. Wheelchair access was great when you were in!
Location for Borough Market & Tate Modern very good
For what it offers I would say slightly overpriced.
