Facilities were very disappointing, would not stay again.
Pros:

Location. Friendly staff.

Cons:

They obviously have a problem with their sewage system as the room smelt awful. Also, the lighting in the room was very dim & depressing. There was no socket next to the kettle either so had to either carry a hot kettle across the room or move the whole tray. just a strange set up. There was also no toilet brush in the bathroom.
On arrival I was charged for parking which had not been made obvious when I booked. When I scanned the QR code in the room, the parking charge info was incorrect as I had been charged more than stated price.

Smelly and unkept
Pros:

The location was excellent. A short walk to/from both the railway station and city centre.

The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The main entrance doors were filthy. Dirty carpet, lack of air freshener throughout, smell of sewage coming from the sinkhole, sink plug broken, shower head feel several times because it didn't fit the bracket, leaking air con which dripped the whole night and the smell of spilt beer beneath the bedside table (was still wet).

The lights in the room aren't soft enough and it was hard to strike a balance for a relaxing setting

The reception/bar area is devoid of any soul. I stayed here many years ago and the difference is stark. It's uninviting and dark.
