My passport went missing along with cash while it was kept inside the hotel room. When we reported the situation to the reception, they insisted that this “never happens there” and implied that we must have lost it somewhere outside the hotel. There were no cameras or access records available to verify who entered the room, which felt very convenient.

The next day, while we were inside the room (after housekeeping had already cleaned it), a man entered our room without any explanation. He was followed by a hotel staff member who seemed to be covering for him, which only reinforced our suspicions.

At check-out, the only response we received was: “Sorry for the inconvenience.”

Losing a passport abroad is an extremely serious situation. On top of that, knowing that someone can enter your room without authorization is deeply concerning, anything could happen.

Please do not risk staying here!!
