Pros:

over all the staff specially the cleaning staff was good. rooms were comfortable. Location was good.

Cons:

I booked the hotel after clicking the button "with breakfast" but after reaching there no breakfast was booked with any of our rooms. room service was very slow. Every thing comes on calling for the second time.

Secondly, I have made the payment at the time of check-in and the hotel staff charged me earlier GST and not the current reduced rate. Then at the time of checkout I received a call that, as there is balance left in advance payment done by me due to error in their billing, we could have the buffet breakfast and they will adjust the amount. So instead of refunding the amount to me, they only adjusted it. It was their mistake, the billing was done two days back only.

Pros:

Bathroom needs to b clean
Hallways carpet is very old and dirty
Too small gym has only two treadmills
Door staff always looking for tips because of that I was scared to get out of the hotel and I had to sneak out to avoid harassment for tips
I doubt I go back to this hotel again

I enjoyed my stay at the Golconda Hotel and would return to stay there again.
Pros:

The staff and their dedication to the comfort and care of the guests were the highlight of the stay.

Cons:

The property is clean but the shower needed updating- it was old and didn’t match the rest of the unit I stayed in.

Cons:

Very poor aesthetics, breakfast was of very low quality for the amount they charged. No shower gel provided, tap in the wash basin was shaking , extremely poor quality wash basin with no decor of a hotel that has been historically a good hotel.

Pros:

People were smoking cigarettes in 7th floor, later I learned this hotel 2nd floor is smoking allowed floor, with air-condition blowing. I could not bare and could not seep, it was kind of 11pm, otherwise i would have got and found a better place. Of course, I never stay in this hotel again. and will every friend thinking about staying, i will at least tell them avoid this property. Weather you smoke in 1st floor or 2nd or 3rd, the place is going to stink like a cigarette. If they think they can contain air to one floor that is never going to happen, hot air will always go up. but common sense is not common. I need to repeat it to myself.

Great experience with little concerns.
Pros:

The room has a great view and very spacious. Had all the amenities required and working. The pool was clean and great. We had a pleasant experience

Cons:

The bathroom cleanliness and the room smell are a concern, the hotel was built in ages ago as i understand, but it could be manageable to make the room smell a little better

Great stay with family
Pros:

The staff were really polite. The location was good. The nearest metro station is Lakdi-ka-pul, around 6 minutes' travel. Golconda Fort and Charminar were at a distance of about 8 km each from the hotel, taking about 30 minutes maximum. Ramoji Film City is about a 1-hour drive from the hotel. There are various food spots and restaurants nearby. There's a wide variety to choose from for buffet breakfast. The swimming pool is well-maintained. The wellness area has various fitness equipment. The rooms were neat and tidy. All in all, the stay was very pleasant and enjoyable."

Cons:

The bathroom felt a little bit old and cramped. The in-room dining menu seemed a bit overpriced compared to properties with similar amenities.
