Chose for the parking, struggled to park

There was a lady at the reception Asian looking who was rude and really annoyed me. The parking is on a first come first served basis (which btw was the main reason for choosing this hotel) and not only there wasn’t a parking space for me on my arrival and I had to invent a place but when I informed the receptionist I was told “I only work here” which should have been her concern to provide a discount for the parking or a free drink for the staff (as I remember I was trained to do when I was working in hospitality). Thank goodness the manager Laura stepped in and moved her car in order to make space for me which was incredibly nice for her to do which improved my overall experience hence I am not reviewing this stay based of my sole interaction with the Asian looking receptionist. But overall for anyone who chooses this hotel because of the parking, I would advise not to.

Pros:

Convenient and breakfast was lovely. Room was superb and always stocked up when I came back.

Cons:

Parking is limited. When I came back after seeing a mate in neath saturday night, the car park was rammed with cars and cars parked infront of cars, in the end I had to park on yellow lines. I spoke to a receptionist about it she politely apologies and I told her its not her fault. Just a small car park.

Good accommodation for families with kids, made the morning better, having the breakfast included.
