Hotel de Paris et des Voyageurs

this probably is the worst hotel i have stayed at. on arrival it was locked,had to go accross the road to gain access.to start the lift was dirty,in the room the carpet was disgustingly stained,the bed covers dirty not sure about sheets. no hotel staff to complain to.the shower had no hook and when showering water went in ever direction.
i have stayed in many hotels this one is terrible

Stayed here while cycling the Rhone. We were recommended a hotel opposite the Hotel de Paris but when the tourist information phoned we were advised that the recommended hotel was full but that the owner had recently taken over the hotel across the road. The hotel was clearly in need of updating but the room we were in had been renovated and was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was good. Internet did not work in our room but was available in the common area. While I would not necessarily recommend it, there is nothing radically wrong with it. Prices were reasonable.

Trevligt enkelt hotell mitt i centrum. Bra mottagande och serviceminded personal (ägaren?) Nära till gamla stadsdelen med många restauranger. Garage nära hotellet. Bra och billigt hotell vid genomresa en eller två nätter.

The hotel was central in Valence, convenient for the station, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. The owner was friendly and welcoming. However, our room was pokey and very poorly decorated (a stained carpet and very dirty walls). The shower was OK, but the screen was damaged and repaired with a piece of plastic sellotaped on, and the place just felt tired and run down. Breakfast was OK, but the coffee was stewed. We won't be back.

Fast hotellet var stort så kändes det familjärt. Trevlig receptionist som också hjälpte till med att tipsa om restauranger i omgivningarna. Det var lagom avstånd till centrum och gamla stadsdelen för att få en liten promenad och ändå inte bli störd av trafik på natten.

We booked because the hotel was very close to the train station. It is very old, run down and we were terrified that the ancient elevator would stop between floors. There were holes in the walls downstairs. The bathroom ceiling was moldy and the covering was chipping off. The whole experience was truly awful.

I only stayed here overnight before catching a train in the morning, but it's literally across the street from the train station and in a lovely little area of shops with a park at the end of the street for a bit of relaxation. The man who checked me in was also very helpful and friendly.

Afriendly owner with excellent welcoming .the hotel was rénovated A quietly environment .we met and respectfull famille. The room are so clean and beautiful.the breakfast very good with freshly french break and pastries organic yoghurt.enjoy.

Very clean and Welcoming hôtel. A charming family receive us.the room 56 and 46 and 66 are without neighbours.we are so lucky for prestations of this two stars hotel.the better in valence for the quietly .very calm for spend a nice night

Hôtel situé tout près de la gare, très calme néanmoins. Très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner correct. Rien à redire.

Ma première impression ne fût pas forcément très avenante car le hall d'entrée est un peu vieillot, en revanche accueil physique très sympathique malgré mon heure tardive d'arrivée et ma réservation sur le site hotel.com 5 minutes avant mon entrée dans les lieux. De plus j'ai trouvé une chambre confortable, propre et accueillante malgré une certaine simplicité. Le petit hic pas forcément super important se situe au niveau de l'accroche de douche qui n'était plus fonctionnelle (d'ailleurs j'ai oublié de le signaler en partant, preuve que cela n'était pas forcément primordial). Ce qui n'est pas négligeable avec cet hôtel c'est la proximité de la gare de Valence centre quand vous avez un train à prendre, il n'y a qu'une seule rue à traverser. Je pouvais même l’apercevoir de ma chambre c'est pour dire ! Voilà je pense que vous pouvez y aller sans trop vous poser de question excepté si vous recherchez un 5 étoiles et un restaurant gastro. Ah oui !!! Le petit déjeuner était très correct (viennoiseries croustillantes, chocolat, café, thé, pain, jus d'orange etc et le tout à volonté). En espérant que mon impression pourra vous aider dans votre choix.

Hôtel bien placé car proche de plusieurs restaurants, difficulté pour se garer (pas de parking privée à ma connaissance). Hôtel qui aurait besoin d'un très sérieux coup de jeune. Literie confortable.

Excellent accueil mais difficile de porter un jugement global car l'hôtel est en travaux. Parmi les bémols : l'hôtel est ancien et l'eau chaude arrive difficilement au dernier étage, la climatisation ventile directement sur les lits, le petit déjeuner est varié mais pas d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Parmi les points positifs : la proximité du centre ville et du parking surveillé de la gare, l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.

Bon accueil, propreté en général. Cet établissement peut être recommandé.
