Location
We had an issue with a locked bathroom door. No staff to help, really unprofessional
Went on a coach holiday to Bournemouth and cannot find any fault with this hotel.Rooms spotless ,all staff really nice and you only need to ask and they would oblige.Meals hot and varied ,pool and jacuzzi great. Good location.
Nice hotel, clean large room. Hot chocolate and biscuits was a nice treat. Great location, great price.
Everything was great.
The hotel is very dated and worn. The bathroom appeared to be fairly new, which was a positive point. However, there were no proper toiletries provided, just liquid soap for everything, and no cotton buds or Q-tips. The bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was of low quality, although you order it in the morning as if it’s freshly made, it seemed to have been prepared in bulk earlier and simply plated to serve, it was rather dry and lukewarm. Parking for guests is available but paid, which appears to be standard in Bournemouth. The key card for the door was temperamental and often required several attempts before unlocking.
As above
The room was amazing and bigger than expected. Very clean and the beds were really comfy. The swimming pool was the highlight. So much character that suited the age of the property and such a nice temperature - we didn't want to leave!
Old world charm and convenient to beach and town
Loved everything
Location was excellent, reception staff were lovely, room was 10 /10
Room was right opposite lift so was nosy till late and early morning, the fan automatically comes on in bathroom at 8am which woke us up every morning
Perfect location for a town centre stay, staff were lovely
Rooms weren’t very soundproof, struggled to sleep the first night as other guests were noisy in their rooms and the corridor
Literally everything. The pool is fantastic
Nothing
We loved our stay at Norfolk Royale hotel, the pool was great the hotel building was impressive and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and we would certainly stay again. The location was also great with a short walk into town and very close to restuarants and pubs.
Breakfast was not a buffet but your order was taken but the food was pre-cooked and not amazing. it wasn't bad but there are better breakfasts in other hotels. It wouldn't stop us returning though.
Went on a twixmas break 27-30 December, hotel was lovely, all decorated for Christmas, , has been refurbished and was bright warm and welcoming. Meals were very good hot, service fast efficient and waiters fantastic. Great entertainment area , acts very good, nightly bingo, bed room spacious very clean warm , tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits on compliment tray. Both myself and my husband have mobility issues but managed to get to see the Christmas gardens yesterday there's hill back up to hotel, but manage.Cafe In hotel bar prices reasonable 7.00 cocktail, free bucks fizz for all last night all in all well worth money and fantastic break Trip to Salisbury great as was Poole and Swanage.
Thank you all staff and Tommy the driver from room 4.
Great Hotel, I went with Alfa coach break, on arrival first impressions a bit tired on the outside. on the inside reception and lounges welcoming and comfortable. entertainment lounge I didn't use as I usually do not like the usual type of music they put on in Leisureplex hotels. My room was outstanding only issue was room was next to a service lift and I think it had a ventilation shaft that came on at all sorts of times, noise disturbance easily sorted by closing bathroom door walls must of been thinner there than than bedroom wall. Comfortable bed great facilities. Meals usual Alfa standard nothing special, that's not being mean as all the hotels use the same supplies and menus nothing really shone out, food was hot portion sizes seem to be getting smaller three small roast potatoes with roast beef and one cold potato with my salad, service a bit slow but not to bad. Great area steep hill down to shops my advice use the roads opposite the hotel to get to the shops.
