Hôtel bien situé, facile d'accès
Rien
The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was good.
We had to go clear out of our way to get where we were going because of the one way street when you leave the hotel. The bed was a little uncomfortable.
Very good hotel with an In n Out right in front 😊
Front desk staff could have been a bit more nicer.
Best Hyatt -- great location, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, and clean room! We also liked just walking to the local restaurants. There was something for everyone at breakfast. We were only going to stay 1 night and stayed 3!
Property was clean and centrally located. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a King Mountain View room and it was very comfortable.
My son and I stayed here for a weekend trip to visit Garden of the Gods and hike the Manitou Incline. I use hotel credit card points and this hotel was a great value for the points price I paid. The location is fantastic, they don't charge for parking and free breakfast is included. The room was clean and spacious and we were upgraded to a mountain view for free upon request. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly stay in the area.
Location was close to main attraction
The mattress we’re sinking and had a backache
Lovely modern hotel rooms were really big full suite nice sofa area to sit bed was comfortable
Nothing
The room was spacious and having the separate living area was nice. The bed wasn't bad. The breakfast is great.
Highway side it is incredibly noisy. I had to use ear plugs to sleep.
We were told that housekeeping was every other day but on day 3 nothing was done. We went to the front desk as we needed towels. Treated very rudely by the manager. He said that it was our fault for having the sign on the door after 6 am. We never had it on the door later than 7am
Amazing facility. Clean, up to date facilities, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 40+ motorcyclists that came in from across the country to meet here for 3 days. I'll stay here again when I come through.
Staff are genuinely very friendly and competent from food servers to front desk to bar to housekeeping. Room had extra space and all necessities. I took a swim in the pool and utilized conference rooms with my group. Excellent experience for us!
Good location for Garden of the Gods, and access to other local venues, but we were disappointed by our stay at the Hyatt Place, Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods.
Reception staff were helpful and appeared to respond to issues, rather than offer the platitudes of concern (without apparent resolution) that other hotels appear to.
However, within minutes of check-in and arriving at our hotel room door, it was clear - even through the dim corridor lighting - that someone had previously thrown up on the door, and whilst attempts had surely been made to clean it up, there was still dried residue. Although reported immediately, the door/frame had not been cleaned by the time we checked out. Reception staff told us that a maintenance request was in place to address the issue once we were out of the space. Not sure why it couldn't have been addressed sooner.
There was also a sour/fishy smell in the vicinity of the bathroom area, which was unpleasant. but seemed to clear after leaving the bathroom fan on for a day.
TV placement was skewed making viewing difficult.
Breakfast was generally poor.
The hotel was fully booked, so there was a bottleneck getting into the room with the cereals and the hot food dishes squashed together in the same corner/area of the room. It was not laid out as indicated in the website photos. The breakfast room floor had a squashed doughnut piece and other pieces of cereal on it.
Hot food options were limited during our 2-night stay: certainly not "the wide array of choices from fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola, to eggs, hash browns, waffles, and more" stated on the Hyatt Place website.
On our second morning there were only 4 egg dishes available-not great if you don't eat eggs. At least he previous day there had been tortillas. Considering the size of the venue, there seemed relatively few options,
There were only 2 juice options, where all other hotels we visited on our trip had at least 3, and there was no hot chocolate, that we found at all other hotels we stayed.
24-hour coffee/drinks was not available in the the lobby area. There also seemed reluctance to provide refills for room coffee/tea maker outside of housekeeping hours. Only a single serve coffee machine is provided in the room, which isn't ideal for 2 people, let alone the potential 5 that could be staying in a double room (two double beds and sofa bed).
Although the linen and towels were clean, nothing else seemed that clean. The bath had 2 circular chips in the base & we found a fork under sofa bed, so the room hadn't had a proper clean for some time.
The outside pool was adequate, with nice walk-in steps space and reasonable length.
There was no grating on the ice machine on the 2nd floor, so you had to hold the bucket, rather than place it on a shelf.
We had not paid for a room with the mountain view, but even so the room view was dreadful.
Lovely big and comfortable rooms.
Staff are absolutely miserable here. When we went to check in the woman helping us was so rude. She said we canceled our booking which wasn’t true and made us panic. She didn’t give a shit. When I asked her to look again she found us and that we’d already paid. No apologies for the mistake. The air con units are a joke, so loud that we couldn’t sleep! The hotel is also right on the edge of the interstate so the road noise was bad here. Pool looked lovely in the photos but wasn’t nice in person, sad and dingy and in the parking lot!??? We had no hot water in our room on the second night. Called reception and got told to wait 2 hours because the hotel was full so the hot water had run out lol. At 9pm we called back and they moved us to another room. Again the staff member was so subpar, no apology or care and just handed me the key cards. Breakfast was crap, food was so bland and cheap. Not sure how people eat this sort of food, it’s like plastic!
