Location and cleanliness
Bathroom is small
Breakfast room and layout not good to move people through to get their food.
The staff were amazing. Very friendly, compassionate employees that give a great value to this hotel.
Can't say I disliked anything
While the room was very clean and spacious and service has been great, I absolutely cannot stand how loud the outdoor noise is. I requested a room opposite side of the highway and unfortunately was given a room closest to the highway. It is SO loud in our room and it has been very rough at nights with our baby, regardless of the sound machine we have on. Yes, convenient to be close to i25 and Garden of the Gods but the location it’s in is run down and it’s not worth the extremely loud traffic noise. As a Hyatt member, I most likely wouldn’t stay here again next time I’m in the area.
Room very spacious, comfortable. Good location with lots of eateries around. Short drive to garden of the gods. Gym was excellent!
Breakfast was terrible. There seemed to only be one poor woman working trying to get food out as well as cleaning tables and making coffees. Breakfast items ran out too early.
nice clean rooms, relatively new facility. staff was kind and considerate. Easy access to the area. Noise level was low, elevators was efficient.
The AC unit in the room rattled loudly and nonstop through the night making it a sleepless night.
Curtain handle has fallen but not fixed. Maintenance is not good.
Breakfast was so crowded because its space is so small and clumsy.
Location
Clean
First the positives. The room was spacious and having the separate living area was nice. The bed wasn't bad. The breakfast is great.
Now the negatives. If your room is on the highway side it is incredibly noisy. I had to use ear plugs. I had emailed the property the day before and asked for a room on the other side but maybe there wasn't one available. The bathroom is tiny but good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
We were told that housekeeping was every other day but on day 3 nothing was done. We went to the front desk as we needed towels. The women at the desk were trying hard to be helpful but then a man told us that we had left the do not disturb sign on the door. We took that sign off the door at 830 am. He said we needed it off by 6 essentially saying it was our fault that we didn't have housekeeping. I have a quick temper and had to just walk away as he was so rude. About 30 min later an envelope was slipped under our door with 2 coupons for a free drink. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and that lack of customer service makes it impossible for me to recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for a meeting for work. Check in went great! Stacy was a wealth of knowledge and I was able to check in early.
The room was very clean and quiet, both of which are important to me. I had a fourth floor mountain view, which was beautiful! The location was good, near many restaurants.
The conference space was adequate. The food was not. I've been to my share of conference/meetings at hotels and I've never seen food set up like that. I can't speak to the breakfast for everyone, but I assume the breakfast that was set up for us was similar. Eggs were not good, sausage was okay, fruit was good. Many of us went elsewhere for breakfast the next morning.
Fortunately, we only had one lunch there. It was VERY bread heavy and I've never seen English Muffins set out for a lunch. The salad dressing was at the beginning of the line; the salad at the end; I didn't get any, but I do know that others were not impressed and most went into the garbage. I've also never seen hotels put soup in a dutch oven then just in the serving line with no attempt to try and keep the soup warm.
The servers were in and out and while I appreciate them wearing gloves, I don't want them to use the same gloves they are handling food with to also touch the dirty door handles going in and out.
The second breakfast also didn't have a place to put our dirty dishes so we had to stack them around the food on the serving line.
Bottom line - the space was okay for meetings, just maybe order in pizza for lunch.
Very disappointed with our 7-day stay. We were told housekeeping would clean every other day, but on day 6 our room was still not cleaned even after we requested it at the front desk. When I asked Jillian about it, she was rude, dismissive, and offered no apology. My husband and I waited tired in the lobby, which ruined the mood of our vacation. Delays happen, but professionalism and customer service matter.
The ADA room was one of the better ones you’ve experienced, and we liked that it was on the ground level.
