First time at a Microtel
Pros:

Breakfast was standard, mediocre. Halls were clean. Security was good. Was on a dead end street good for walking dogs.

Pros:

We did not stay at this hotel. We inadvertently booked the hotel in error while traveling from Florida to Arkansas. The advertisements on google made this appear it was in Alabama. Within minutes of booking this in error, we tried to call and could not get ahold of a person. AI only. We ended up paying for a room that we weren't within 1000 miles of the hotel! Would think the hotel and Booking.com would do the right thing and refund the payment.

Pros:

breakfast does not include any salty food like an egg or cheese. Only sweety staff.

Cons:

The heater was sooo loud. had to go multiple times to reception to get the right remote for TV and then to get working batteries. The bottles of hand soap and shampoo in bathroom were empty.

Don’t go in the Winter and everything will be perfect!
Pros:

The staff was amazing! The bed/pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower head had amazing pressure and plenty of hot water! The heat in the room worked amazing !

Cons:

I stayed 1/25/26 and it was in the middle of that horrible storm that crippled the entire East Coast. They didn’t plow the entire parking lot, didn’t clear by cars and I only saw them shovel the entry area. Didn’t see salt out down either just several carpets inside and outside. It took me over 45 minutes to get my van out. I had to rock my van back and forth to get it out from the 4ft of snow pushed up against it. I had to dig my way to my van door with an ice scraper/snow brush. With zero help! I wish I could upload additional pictures cause these only show the one area. The snow was higher than the door and I had to dig it out with a scraper.

For the time I spent in the hotel I wouldn't change anything, the lobby was clean and my room was very nice and comfortable.
