INA Hotel Royal

Very nice accomodation! Close to the S bahn station.

We stayed two nights. The hotel is a little dated. But very clean, safe, quiet. The front door staff were very nice and helpful Would stay there again. 100%

I didn’t like that they say they have parking then when I arrived they told me my van was too large to park in they’re area.
I didn’t like the hard beds .
The area didn’t look safe .

Hotel was ok, breakfast was good! Room was a little dated. Cologne, other than the Cathedral, and old town area was good, but the rest of the city was blah and dreary

The hotel is conveniently located just a few walks away from a metro station (Hansaring station). The hotel is old and the rooms need a little bit of renovation but over-all it was okay. The hotel offers breakfast buffet for an additional 12 euros.

Strategic location

The hotel was in a perfect location for the city centre, either to walk or use the U bahn. The room was very clean and the staff super friendly. They also helped us to solve a problem we had with our suitcase which we really appreciated. Thank you! Couldn't recommend the hotel more.

Easy walking to railway or tube stations.Restaurants near by and if want to walk a 20 minutes walk to cathedral and main railway station

Upon arrival the front desk person clearly had no business being the person greeting people and set a negative tone for our stay. To be fair, the hotel was good. Clean, plenty of towels and hot water. Wifi was good, tv good, bed fine. Good area. The walls snd doors care thin and you will hear everything. It’s in a pretty good location. Pretty much the only reason I wouldn’t recommend or stay there is the staff. Jerks

Place is cute and old style but no A/C so stay away on Summer….. room is cute old style and antique…
15 pound per night. You can find on street but read sign careful….

The room was big and bathroom was a very good size. I loved the bath. The check in was good and they allowed me to leave my suitcase there as i arrived before check in. The two guys at reception were amazing and friendly and helpful. The room had good natural light. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding with a good selection of foods. The shower was good with plenty of hot water and great pressure. The hotel has a nice vibe and feels comfortable. I could see the manager (or head person) checking everything was ok. I would definitely stay again.

Pleasant hotel close to the Koln HBF. Stayed here for one night and didn't have any issues. The breakfast was nice.

We had to pay additional taxes for the stay and did not get a reaon why. After checkout we tild them that it allready tax'd by hotels, but they told us to take the complane to the city

Room decor was a bit dated, but certainly can’t complain for the price, staff were friendly, good location for walking into the city centre

On the bright side- the location is good, the room was old fashioned but pleasant, breakfast was fine, the shower was very good. There is a nice coffee shop with good internet next door which is important because the wifi at the hotel was down for the duration of my stay. Do your research about the city before you arrive because the concierge couldn't help with any of my enquiries- Where to find internet? Is there a laundrette near by? When will the wifi be repaired? He simple answered "I don't know" to all my questions.
