Room did not have thermostat, room was very hot throughout stay
Always stay at this hotel when traveling. Excellent hotel. Emma on reception was very accommodating on this last trip. Great customer service, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Rooms are lovely, clean and very comfortable.
Beautiful property and friendly kind staff
Lovely staff and very clean and tidy.
Love, loved it the building is fantastic
The staff was so accommodating! When we got here they let us check in very early because we had come off the plane. They could not be nicer !
Great hotel with a great restaurant. We've stayed here a couple of times now. 15 minutes from Gatwick airport it's a fabulous place to stay if you're flying. We will be back I'm sure.
Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to make our stay really magical - from the perfect room selection to the fluffy white robes, it was a gorgeous few nights. If you’re flying into or out of Gatwick Airport around the time of your stay, the hotel also offers a reasonably priced and safe car parking service, and with a bus to the airport around the corner I’ll definitely be doing it again. Again, Rebecca is wonderful - give her a payrise, as she is a big reason I’ll be coming to stay again! Thanks, Langshott Manor. You were gorgeous x
Really quiet , staff excellent , would use again for a holiday from Gatwick - and would leave the car there as cheaper than on airport parking
The building and the rooms have character, but… some rooms are air conditioned and others are not, the dining room is grim, the weekend service is thin. I think we also got overcharged for our bedroom (the Anne Boleyn).
Lovely place my second time hear and will come back again
The host/staff was super friendly and accommodating and the place was full of old English charm.
Have stayed multiple times, this trip was 2 nights, excellent as before. Dinner one night, was excellent, nice young man server, food excellent. Ladies at front desk were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
Breakfast mix was limited but adequate, supplemented by a menu to support it.
Could use a mini-fridge, plenty of room in the spacious rooms.
Amazing place tranquil and perfect for work when an early start is required because you can get an early night in peaceful surroundings.
This property was like stepping back in time in the most beautiful of ways. The property is this beautiful old manor circa 1523 I believe. So quaint and the grounds were stunning. The food was delicious and the staff were a delight.
The place is beautiful. The reception staff is incredible. We definitely will come back!
Very restful with delightf service
Classic English countryside estate hotel / property... what the Dr ordered after a long travel thru Europe and before heading back to California.... thoroughly enjoyed comfortable rooms, beds, showers, lounge and restaurants... Primo
Whilst I know this is an old and historic property, the entire place (restaurant, bedroom...at least mine, bathroom) are all very, very dated. It does feel like the whole place has not had any investment or refurbishments for 20 or more years. It is tired, old and feels like it is on a steep and steady decline.
Our room was not in the Manor but in a modern constructed building away from the Manor. That was not specifically mentioned in the booking.
The bathroom have large tiles that were separated from the floor. There is a low beam parallel to the bed and you have to bend over to get out of bed.
