Très bon emplacement sur le royal mile entre les deux old/new Town
Très bon petit déjeuner

Cons:

Aucune isolation phonique au niveau des fenêtres, la chambre donnant sur la rue avec la gare, les camions la nuit, les travaux à 6h30 tous les matins…
Matelas ok mais oreillers vraiment à changer

Pros:

Het is lang geleden dat wij in een hotel verbleven waar alles klopte. De kamer was ruim en schoon en het bed was fijn. De service goed, we werden zelfs ontvangen met een glas bubbels.
Elke dag werden de koffiecups aangevuld, er was water voorradig. Minibar deed het niet, werd diezelfde middag vervangen.
Personeel uiterst vriendelijk, ontbijt uitmuntend.

Buen hotel en el centro de Edimburgo
Pros:

El personal siempre ha sido muy amable y atento.
La ubicación era muy buena, cerca de todo para ir caminando a todos los puntos de interés.
El gimnasio era perfecto.

Cons:

La luz de la habitación era muy escasa. Parecía estar siempre de noche.

El desayuno podría ser algo más variado.

Lovely welcome and great breakfast
Pros:

We had a really nice stay. The welcome was very warm and we were offered a glass of prosecco on arrival, which was a lovely touch. We also arrived a little earlier than the official check-in time (before 3 pm) and they still checked us in without any issue, which we really appreciated. The room had a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee which was great after a day of travelling. Breakfast was excellent with a very good selection and everything tasted fresh.

Cons:

The carpet in the room looked a bit dirty and didn’t seem to be properly hoovered. Also our room had a window facing a wall, which made it quite dark. This is probably something I didn’t notice when booking rather than a fault of the hotel, but it’s worth being aware when choosing the room type.

The only downside was that we weren’t warned about building works prior to check in as they were right outside the window and started about 7:30am

Pros:

O quarto era super confortável, funcionários prestaveis, localização muito boa e oferta de águas, chás, café e bolachas no quarto. Pequeno almoço muito bom, embora sem grande variedade. Adorei as opções mais saudáveis (smoothies e iogurtes já preparados com granola).

Cons:

Preços do restaurante completamente absurdos para a quantidade de comida/bebida. Bastantes obras à volta do hotel e algum ruido das mesmas no quarto.

Nicely appointed hotel. Will improve when once construction work is finished.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. We were upgraded to a 3 bed room which was great.

Cons:

Lots of construction work outside making access more difficult and very muddy. The main lift wasn't working. We returned at 10.20 on the second evening for a night appointment. After removing coats and getting settled we were told the bar was closed. Disappointed.
