Pleasant hotel right in the middle of the Royal Mile
Pros:

Brilliant location, lovely reception and cleaning staff, easy to check in and out, staff dealt with an issue with our hot water very quickly.

Cons:

Had to have a cold shower on the first morning because there was no hot water, although to be fair this did get fixed very quickly after we raised the issue at reception. The beds have a mattress topper on top of mattress, and they kept sliding around during the night, nearly fell out of bed. There were comfortable but should be fixed onto the mattress somehow, maybe with elastic.

Lo único que me gustó fue la ubicación que es fantástica, queda en pleno corazon de la Royal Mile y la amabilidad del personal de recepción.

Cons:

Nos dieron una pieza que estaba diseñada para personas con discapacidad, por lo que el lavamanos del baño estaba a baja altura y el inodoro más alto de lo habitual. El inodoro no funcionaba y avisamos de ello en varias oportunidades sin que lo solucionaran. Durante la noche el baño devolvía agua sucia lo que generaba mal olor. Además el aseo de la habitación era poco prolijo y es un hotel que, si bien no es de los más caros, tampoco es barato por lo que hubiéramos esperado un mejor servicio y mejores instalaciones. No lo recomiendo porque la zona está llena de hoteles de similares precios.

Disappointed, not a comfortable stay. Too cold, too basic and too expensive for what it is. Welcome to Edinburgh!

Cons:

Room cold no matter what you set temperature dial to. Very very basic. Don’t expect anything bar kettle. You are paying for location and nothing else!

Gran hotel en Edimburgo
Pros:

Este hotel en Edimburgo superó mis expectativas . La ubicación es excelente , pegado a la Royal Mile ...la zona es segura de noche . Cama y almohadas excelentes y el personal muy amable . Desayuno muy completo . Muy buena relación precio ,calidad .

The breakfast was in my opinion very poor. The kitchen staff were scruffy and looked like they had just fallen out of bed. Not much of a choice. Compared to other places we have stayed it was below par.
