Great service, professional staff
Buffet needs healthier items
The staff was very detailed oriented and welcoming.
My elderly mother said the beds were a little hard to get into because they are tall. But it’s not enough of a problem that would prevent us from returning.
A very nice hotel not too far from Kauffman stadium and five minutes from Joes Kansas City BBQ. Clean rooms, great breakfast at an affordable price. Perfect hotel for fans traveling to see the Royals play.
This Hyatt property uses motion sensored AC settings. It would shut off every morning unless if it detected someone moving around in the center of the room. It drove me crazy as it would shut off and make the room crazy warm.
Hyatt is instituting this system across many of their properties and as a Hyatt loyalist for decades, I've already started to look at other brands as this is an issue I've run into only with Hyatt hotels (thus far).

Very clean and quiet

The room lacked a microwave and small trash cans. The bed dust ruffle was torn in several places. When we got ready to depart to check out an electric issue in the building shut down the elevators and we were on the 4th floor. We are seniors in our late 70s and when I told the lady that we needed to check out we had to hand carry all of our luggage down 4 flights of stairs and they didn't even bother to ask if we needed any assistance. The price we paid to stay here was not worth it.

The place was very clean and felt super upscale.
The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety.
The room is really dated. Furniture is old. And scuffed. Chipped shelf in sliding door less closet. Really expect more at a Hyatt Place.
Pics don’t match room pics on Expedia. Maybe they just gave me the worst room. I
It was a super clean, Staff wordfriendly and it was a tremendously easy check-in. They even have a Starbucks in the lobby for all the coffee drinkers.
