Very small rooms. It was so small that the bed was against one wall. My husband had to climb in at the foot of the bed. There wasn’t room for a bedside table or reading light. The window faced a brick wall a few meters away. The location was okay but it was very close to a dodgy area. None of the cafes or restaurants in the immediate vicinity looked appealing. Next time I would stay on Bush Street a few blocks down the hill. There were some lovely boutique hotels and lovely cafes. The breakfast was included but other than the great coffee the breakfast was not good. Only apples for fruit. The bakery goods were stale. It would be better to forgo the breakfast and find a nice cafe.
La màquina de cafè i aigua a recepció, l'esmorzar i la decoració.
La habitació no té espai per deixar les coses, la taula és tant petita que només és per un i el lavabo no té ni un estant per deixar el neceser.
The lobby and room look clean and renovated. There is also a lovely rooftop lounge area on the 6th floor.
The shower was nice but the floor drain specifically had hard water damage and was clean but would be more visually appealing if swapped for a new drain cover.
Price and cleanliness
There are too few chargers in the room.
It was very clean and pleasant artwork.
There was a buzzing noise most of the night. We couldn’t tell IF it was the heater or not. My husband was able to fall asleep but it was harder for me.
Rooms are tiny, we had to pay to upgrade because we couldn’t stay in such a small space. Cleanliness wasn’t great, the shower tray and plug was filthy with grime and mold.
Breakfast was very disappointing.
Check in was easy, everything was explained in full. Breakfast was also included, which was nice.
I requested a room on a lower floor as I am claustrophobic and didn’t want to use their old style elevator. I was given a room on the second floor. The receptionist saw I had 1 large suitcase, a holdall and and a separate bag. I asked if I could keep the 2 bags at reception whilst I put my suitcase in the room first as I needed to do this in 2 trips. The receptionist said yes. Not at any point did he offer to assist me. I understand it isn’t a part of his role to do this, but he instead sat there on his phone.
There was also a used tissue under my bed and a clump of hair that must have been missed on the floor in my room.
