The facility suited all of my needs and I would stay there again.
Pros:

Good location, everything I needed was nearby.
Good size room.
Good sound retention, I was not disturbed by noisy neighbors or hallway travel.
Temperature control worked well.

Cons:

Pullout couch was rather uncomfortable.

Your location was great to find right off the main road
Pros:

The breakfast was great!

Cons:

Make sure all the coffee machines in the room work. I have one that did not work. I had to go downstairs for coffee couple different times. Other than that it was fine

Pros:

Staff was excellent. Committed problem solving when my dates and billing were off. Made our stay excellent.

Cons:

24/7 Tea and hot cocoa was a highlight for my kids. The stand wasn't always kept stocked or clean, even when staff was available.

Great safe!
Pros:

I loved the room, breakfast options and nice hotel staff

Cons:

I didn’t like the check in process due to complications with my card but it was straighten out.

Surprise suite, view, breakfast with a great price! We will be back!
Pros:

The room was a suite with 2 rooms and a bathroom. The view outside the window was of trees and a walkway...peaceful! And the breakfast was hot and yummy! Thank you!

We would absolutely return if we come back to Des Moines!
Pros:

The room was clean and very large. We loved the pool and hot tub.

Cons:

We had a group of teenagers running up and down the hallway at night for over an hour and playing “ding ding ditch” knocking on doors. However the staff handled it promptly once we notified them.

There’s also probably a 2 inch gap between the floor and door so the hallway light is always coming in the room.
